Fun fact, the plastic covering between the cashier and the customer is NOT for the customers "protection". It's to prevent the customers from being able to spit on the cashier, as here in canada we started putting them up like crazy during the coof. Spitting on someone even became a "felony" as it was "inciting panic due to coof" or in layman terms you now get charged like a terrorist. All over toilet paper lmao

@DeltaCortis The amount of stories I heard of people fighting over toilet paper is hilarious since I never had an issue. Bidet users go through far less TP and if you had one during the lock downs, it was pure bliss.
Former bidet user here, I agree that bidets are pure bliss and never had problems with toilet paper supply during the pandemic
uh... the plexiglass is to protect the cashier from the shopper not the other way around.
The cashier is expected to not come in when sick, there's no controlling what condition the shopper decides to show up in.
They're also not gonna be eating any of the food the shopper is buying, and subsequently put their questionably clean hands all over, so as long as they wash their hands before eating or touching their face they should be fine.
Generally, when a business puts up protective glass between their employees and customers it's not to protect the customer from the employees.
Yeah, but the customer already touched the food, and now the cashier is touching it as well. No one has been protected by the plexiglass.

This reminded me of that story of the woman wanting to get inside a restaurant during covid, without a mask because "there was no one else anyway". She didn't realise that the servers could also get sick, not only the customers.
I know a story when a woman had to take a dna right after giving birth, because FBA suspected her of kidnapping (other kids she already had didn’t match her dna). When the child was born, they took the test and the results said the child wasn’t hers. The problem is she had chimerism. Upon forming with her sister in the mother’s womb fetuses didn’t properly develop as two separate beings. Thus she “consumed” her sister in the early stages of development making her sister a part of her body, yet what had developed by that time was still parts of another human. So yes, the kids were getting her sister’s dna instead.

That story at 11:43 was a story where the girl posted pictures on tinder of when she looked thinner than she was when she met her date. She was noticeably some weight bigger. She then used that story, posted about it online, then opened a gofundme for pity money. She actually got it. This story is from like 2019 or something. Even in the early stages of the pandemic scientist knew that the risk of infection through touching surfaces is significantly reduced. As long as you dont lick a surface someone recently (couple minutes) spit on the chance of infection is near 0.

i had to look it up. one of the reasons there are rock quarries, is because they ( in part ) are looking for metal ore veins below the dirt. there are sometimes also gases from rocks seeping up bubbling into the water. anything from small hydrogen pockets to little bits of nitrogen mixed with copper deposits and limestone. so yea basically its almost untouched rock formations with ground filtered water in it. its very pretty.. i mean.. as long as its not above a poisonous copper ore deposit with limestone chemical reactions from a hydrogen / niteogen rich air chamber deep underneath the ground.
i want to say im not attempting to be somw geologist. i looked it up. another page had a whole conversation. strange gases and precious metal deposits from what anyone says is more of a perfect rare storm than most causes of not living apparently. a few news storys just said dont jump off cliffs unless you really ( and i mean really ) know what your doing. some quarries i guess are 100 years old. and a few construction companies have just left an old bulldozer or something in the bottoms of a few.

I did a lot of stunts as a kid, but the one that had the highest consequence if I failed, was when I walked over a huge pit of fire.
For context, my friends parents were clearing out some land for future use, and they just pushed all the brush into a pile that was like 15ft tall, and burned it. As it burned, the center started caving in first so a because a massive fire circle with hot coals in the middle. When one of the thicker logs fell over the center gap, and I took that as a sign that I'd be fine. I did cross it, and fortunately didn't fall in, because I very literally could have burned to death in that pit.
The plexiglass is there to protect the cashier from being breathed on by literally hundreds of people each day. It's not there to protect you from the cashier lol

Yep, my woman and I agreed to let our son like what he likes. Turns out he mostly likes cars, legos, robots, ninjas, and farming stuff. While there are girls who like that stuff, it is generally more of a boy thing.
There was a study done with small children where they kept them in a room with a bunch of different materials. The girls made dolls with them, the boys made weapons.
Imma be real with you, when i was like 6, i thought it was fun to convince my brothers to go in the trunk of the car and lock themselves in there so that i cound hear them scream for help, only to release them 2 seconds later after they started screaming for help. I didn't get in trouble for it nor did they get angry at me since we're still young at the time, but man, the current me would not only understand, but also be glad to get a whooping from my parents that day
