Just a bit of a correction, in the 1800s when Mexico (my home country) gained independence, we had more territory than what we have now. Back then we had not only Texas, we had Arizona, California, New Mexico, Utah, parts of Oklahoma, Kansas, and Wyoming. We also had all of the territories from Guatemala and Belize, all the way to Costa Rica. Also, in the war against Texas, the US INTERVENED in the war against Mexico therefore making Mexico lose, and in the Treaty of Guadalupe, we lost MORE than HALF our territory to the United States. ALSO, I’m pretty sure the Aztecs never waged war against the Mayans or conquer the entire north of Mesoamérica. ANOTHER correction is that the Dutch NEVER invaded the homeland of Mexico, it was the French who did, they were the ones who established once again the 2nd Mexican Empire putting Maximilian in charge. ALSOOO, the flag throughout all of the video never changed and stayed to our modern flag, in the list of our flags we had a lot of other different flags. ONCE AGAIN, another correction was the fact that you showed in the Porfiriato enslavement which since our birth it wasn’t allowed. Otherwise the rest of the video was pretty accurate according to my knowledge about Mexicos history.
Anyways nice video, and keep up the great work! And also… VIVA MÉXICO 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
Huh, who knew school could teach you more than RUclips sometimes.
Edit: in the beginning of the video when Mexico got independence did you put the flag of a communist Mexico in by accident? Because at the beginning of our independence we were a Constitutional Monarchy and communism wasn’t a thing YET.
Yeah good points but Dutch robbed Spanish ships. Also I think that Britain invaded Northern Mexico.
Amigo, he visto algunos vídeos de este canal y se cometen muchísimos errores. Este vídeo además pone a la conquista española como masacres y robo de oro constante.

Cool video, but there are several inaccuracies portrayed about my countrys history.
1. The Aztecs never fought the Mayans as an empire. They did interact with each other, but never had a war. That was between the Tlaxcaltecas and the Aztecs, the former helping the Spaniards to conquer the latter.
2. What about the Mexican-American war from 1846 to 1848? It is a very significan moment in our history.
3. Is that the Netherlands in 3:43? We never fought against them. We fought the French.
4. I assume that’s Francisco Villa in 4:19, but when did he stole American money to distribute it among the Mexicans?
Anyway, well done.
Pudo haber quedado mejor.

Hey Stateballs can you make History of India video
Every time I see Stateballs videos, I go watch it
Mexico's early history as an independent nation state was marked by political and socioeconomic upheaval, both domestically and in foreign affairs. The Federal Republic of Central America shortly seceded the country. Then two invasions by foreign powers took place: first, by the United States as a consequence of the Texas Revolt by American settlers, which led to the Mexican-American War and huge territorial losses in 1848.[18] After the introduction of liberal reforms in the Constitution of 1857, conservatives reacted with the war of Reform and prompted France to invade the country and install an Empire, against the Republican resistance led by liberal President Benito Juárez, which emerged victorious. The last decades of the 19th century were dominated by the dictatorship of Porfirio Díaz, who sought to modernize Mexico and restore order.[19] However, the Porfiriato era led to great social unrest and ended with the outbreak in 1910 of the decade-long Mexican Revolution (civil war). This conflict led to profound changes in Mexican society, including the proclamation of the 1917 Constitution, which remains in effect to this day. The remaining war generals ruled as a succession of presidents until the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) emerged in 1929. The PRI governed Mexico for the next 70 years, first under a set of paternalistic developmental policies of considerable economic success. During World War II Mexico also played an important role for the Allied war effort.[20][21] Nonetheless, the PRI regime resorted to repression and electoral fraud to maintain power, and moved the country to a more US-aligned neoliberal economic policy during the late 20th century. This culminated with the signing of the North American Free Trade Agreement in 1994, which caused a major indigenous rebellion in the state of Chiapas. PRI lost the presidency for the first time in 2000, against the conservative party (PAN).
Mexico has the world's 15th-largest economy by nominal GDP and the 11th-largest by PPP, with the United States being its largest economic partner. As a newly industrialized[22] and developing country ranking 86th, high in the Human Development Index, its large economy and population, cultural influence, and steady democratization make Mexico a regional and middle power[23][24][25] which is also identified as an emerging power by several analysts.[26][27][28][29] Mexico ranks first in the Americas and seventh in the world for the number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.[30] It is also one of the world's 17 megadiverse countries, ranking fifth in natural biodiversity.[31] Mexico's rich cultural and biological heritage, as well as varied climate and geography, makes it a major tourist destination: as of 2018,

I am Mexican and I can say that the animation is beautiful and that I am glad that they put points in history that are not mentioned much, but they skipped several stages of history, like in the beginning that puts the Mayans as the first culture and not to the Olmecs, or the war against the United States and the loss of the northern territories, the separation of Central America, they skipped the war of the Mexican Revolution quite a bit and in the end they leave us as those who export drugs to the whole world and the worst That is something that stains the image of the country since I have acquaintances from other countries that when I mention Mexico the first thing they ask me is about drug traffickers, I know that it is part of the reality of the country, but it should not be what represents us to the rest of the world
