Xiongnu (Huns) was Proto-Turkic Ancestors and their Empire. Not Mongolic. Our Ancestors was Donghu (Xianbei) tribe. So, Xianbei is our country's first empire.

Proto-Mongolic was formed from Xiongnu and Donghu. This is confirmed by Chinese sources. After annexing Donghu, the Xiongnu conquered Yueji and Dinglin from the Turkic tribes. DNA analysis from Xiongnu tombs matches modern Mongolians exactly. There is no evidence that the Huns who lived in Europe were related to the Xiongnu. The Xiongnu also did not unite the many Turkic tribes that existed in Central Asia or Fergan. Turkic is a very big concept.
@chagatai1975 We can't believe your false comment. Hu is nomadic name. Not a One Nation name. Also, Xianbei and Xiongnu lived in two different place (Established times). After, Xiongnu land territory in Modern Mongolian Steppe. So, Their lived lands are not same.
@chagatai1975 No, Their (Xiongnu) DNA is Y, it is Close to modern Chuvash people. Not Mongolian. You learn first the Proto-Xiongnu and Proto-Xianbei origins. Their Origins are different from each other.
@chagatai1975 Early Xiongnu lived place was Modern day of North Chinese Ningxia state. But, Our Ancestors (Xianbei) first lived place was modern day of Manchuria-Amur river. *We are not same* (*Xiongnu and Xianbei*)
