Fids was such a cool genuine guy .. met him when i was a kid at radlands and again more recently at adrenaline alley while riding .. was a big part of BMX and inspired some of the younger riders .. will be missed by so many people 😢
Got to meet Fids back in the mid 90's ("96 I think) at "The Fat Jam" in the Netherlands (By Paul and Bart DeJong). Great guy, fun to watch, and has a style 100% Fids. Nice job, great choice.
One of my favorite riders I remember see him for the first time of S&M BMX Inferno. Since then he has always been an inspiration for me to ride even at an older age. Ride on Fids you will be missed.
You can tell he really feels like he doesn’t deserve to be there and for that reason he does I’ve never even heard of this dude and I’ve been riding since 14 now 35 ,, crazy how many unknowns out there

@lurker-mq4fp @lurker-mq4fp I rode BMX. Started around 85 then by 87 was chucking the bikes over the fence and bailing the gravel out the bowls to ride them.... Then in 87 I joined the RAF and fids went to the USA to be a sponsored skater. Then came back a sponsored BMXer
The true weight of it was obviously not apparent in the moment. Plus alcohol and attention spans and all that. I’m sure the people meant no real disrespect 🙌🙌
