It depends on what your goals are and what you want for Hmong as a whole. If you still hope that Hmong can remain as 1 people going into the future then don’t let your friends and relatives go to church and believe in Dab Yesxus cuav, for when they do they these will happen; 1) they ridicule your/their/Hmong way of life, and inevitably you and them break apart, won’t visit nor eat at each others functions, 2) like a computer virus, they return to infect/convert more Hmong, 3) they get assimilated and lose their culture, this means less and less Hmong around, so Hmong get weaker and weaker. For example some of them begin to think they are Israelites. When Hmong have lost their culture they won’t be Hmong anymore, but just some Mabsua. If you think bigger, love Hmong, and still want Hmong to survive on forever then keep Hmong traditions/culture alive. Culture is what defines you as a Hmong. And that’s how you nation build. Use culture/commonalities to forge people together... But if you don’t care or are too ignorant to see what’s going on then do as you want. You’re only destroying Hmong without realizing so.
These churches are so messed up. We had a case in my town. She’s a Lee, goes to Hmong church, few years ago when she died, her church is not responsible for her funeral...guess what? It all fall back on Lee families..families that don’t go to church..Without the Lee families, she probably wouldn’t get a proper funeral.
Hmong Church people say that you can't go clubbing, you can't go to the bars and drink, you can't go to the casino, you can't have intercourse until you're married ... Bad !! Bad !! Bad !! Then every Sunday they go to church to have their lord cleanse them by confessing to doing their dirty sins, and ask for forgiveness by their lord.
