    Now that is how to place a DPM/DPC. Wish all would be so conscientious, esp our muppet of a builder we had last year.

    That universal connector is called a Fernco coupling/connector in the US.

    Do the black polothene is that a floor height and u have to make sure that the black polothene is under the first course of block .so I know when I put my first course of blocks I've got to allow for the final pour of concrete and is that called a cavity tray ,can someone plz help as I'm a fencer but I'm doing my extension on my house so all help will b blessed bro s an girls

    Cracking video brother.. have you ever tried construction adhesive under the dpc/cavity tray or is that not viable.. cheers

      Thank you Chris, yes wall plates need to be straight and the delivery guy's chuck anything on the wagons for delivery lol

    Mate we use the same method. I like to use dish soap as lubricant. Just the easiest to clean afterwards :)

    Very bad, them drains you have installed have no trap, you should have used a gully trap with the drain or a P-trap with the drain. Very bad.

      No, its rain water that is going to a separate drain! I know about traps they stop stench but IF YOU LISTENED `I said that its connected to the original rain water drain!!

      Hi Justin, thanks and yes I have and still trying to get the hang of it😆..I got my grandson to work it to be honest, but I got my first course spot on so yeh its ok. I could do it as quick old school to be honest Justin but thats just down to what I know and can do without thinking to much.

    Shouldn’t use wd40 it eats the seals. Also those mini chambers weren’t connected correctly, the main channel wasn’t used at either end. Building control will fail that.
