Just ordered one. What you need is a 2x6 or 2x8 backer board screwed to the studs, than screw this to the backer board.

The tilting hook is great for esp or jackson headstocks that only have a wing on one side. I've been looking for a hanger that does that!

how are you mounting bolt on neck guitars from the ceiling, from the strap pins, ????? please help

I make hooks from bailing wire or metal clothing hangers. Then I have heavy duty hooks into the studs in my ceiling that I hang them from.

yeah so I am wondering about the two screw holes at the top of the hanger. How does that work. Either they shorted me a part or this is not so good. As I lift my guitar off the rack my Jackson especially catches the hanger one time the bottom part of the hanger came out of the slot and I almost did not realize it and almost fell.

so, That was my first observation. I think it was rude for him not address your question. I thought I was missing something too. It really needs a set screw..right? I know he saw this himself while hanging it. Not addressing it was a lame I guess I''ll move on.

Great video. Do you know where we can buy spare single hangers for these units? Having all electrics, I could get 7 guitars on one of these bases.

They just ripped off the String Swing design. The main difference is the guenine one has 1 rail of 48 inch long which would be sturdier than 3 short rails.
