You mean "who's", as in "A comedian who *is* a music aficionado". If you can fit "is" in there, "whose" is wrong. "Whose" is possessive. It's not about what you are, it's about what you have. "A man whose music knowledge I admire" -> the man has the music knowledge.
@@shadowpenguin-skyrimbuilds8663 Usually people who don't know the difference will exclusively use "who's", so I figured because you seemed to be trying to use the right one that you'd want to know. But if you don't care then don't mind me :)
Who edited this and decided it would be a good idea to start the video with a 20 second clip that would be shown again at 1:05, less than a minute later?
I absolutely DETEST this new way people edit videos. People do it in food reviews on here too, in which they show them biting into the food and giving their reaction to it, to then showing a fkn intro. What's the point? Massive peeve of mine.
not quite sure who's interviewing who here - but its just great to see two legends talk to each other I got Perfect Sound Whatever for Christmas and I'd strongly recommend it to anyone who likes either of these two. Not only is it an amazing encyclopaedia of all the music from 2016, its a really emotionally resonant read and is honestly just immaculately written. and yes fantano is referenced in the book
BBC sounds...answer me this....how short do you think people's attention spans are this day that you have put a preview of the 4 minute interview at the start?
The editing at the beginning of this clip is absolutely horrific. You'd expect just a t i n y bit more care from the corporation responsible responsible for the first ever TV broadcast.
Listen to James Acaster's Perfect Sounds on BBC Sounds: www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/brand/p089rfmk
oh what a crossover
Right!?
@@BBCSounds gotta ask person who runs the BBC sounds RUclips account - what was your favourite album in 2021
welcome to the madhouse
James did a video on one of Fantano's channels a couple years ago fyi :)
Crazy, like an acid trip
A comedian whose a music aficionado and a music reviewer whose a funny guy, the perfect crossover I never knew existed

Thought for a sec it was just that clip on loop lmao
I was so confused
It's like the equivalent of when movie trailers show a mini trailer at the start of the trailer for absolutely no reason
@@ZachBobBob it’s so people with short attention spans don’t click off
They usually don’t put it like 20 seconds before the actual moment though haha

is the title in reference to Jeff rosenstock?
So is his book all about 2016? I'm not that excited about only reading about one year.
I didn’t expect this crossover but it makes so much sense and I’m so glad it exists
The collab I've craved for so long, Fantano would make a great guest on the Off Menu Podcast
The most unexpected and welcome collaboration
This crossover is BRILLIANT
Wait what is fantano doing chilling with james acaster this is crazy
Really weird of James not to exploit a loophole like that
Underrated comment and reference! Hats off! 👏
This is a fantastic crossover.
Seriously , these 2 existing in the same space is so odd to me
Lol the colab never thought I would see but happy it’s here
BBC sounds...answer me this....how short do you think people's attention spans are this day that you have put a preview of the 4 minute interview at the start?
Comment too long-didn’t finish. Put a preview next t
TLDR?
TLDR: me watch interview, no trailer thanks x
Love this . Two legends shooting the breeze
Fantano a legend? Seriously?
Do you reckon Anthony is more of a poppadom or bread kind of guy?
I thought my RUclips had crashed at first when i saw this. The Kettering lad and the Melon.
The collaboration I diddnt know that I needed
how did I not know this was a thing ?!
What’s next a review for the Capri Sun Quartet?
erm very confused by this crossover but very happy
I love this interviewers voice
Seeing this crossover in my feed made me cry tears of joy
Welcome!
Wait what...where did this come from? Is there a full discussion somewhere? 🙃
when did this happen lmao and why doesn't it have any views
Tell a friend to tell a friend!
Was a ~40 minute interview on Acaster’s “Perfect Sounds” podcast as a bonus episode in October. This is just 5 minutes from the end of it
@@thorne9790 thank you for that info
this collab was so unexpected omg!
The worlds collide!! Now I want Cal on Jools Holland
I’m so glad this crossover exists
I listen to Doing It Stealthy when I'm experiencing existential dread. It makes it worse but... I just can't stop.
Last thing I expected, great to see Fantano going mainstream
More like Acaster going mainstream
the weirdest but coolest crossover ever
The last two people that I would ever imagine talking to each other
The dream collab
Two kings
I know an album from 2016 - one of the best from that year - that neither of these guys will have heard. How do I tell them?!
Tell me what album is and I will fact check wether it's good or not
i can't believe my eyes right now
the crossover we didn't know we needed
Greatest collab in music ever.
2 people I never knew I needed to meet
Well I did not expect this
This is like Jon Richardson interviewing Brittany Vasseur on the best way to deep clean a bathroom floor.
I knew Acaster was a melon fan!
Jamesthony Acastano here
This is NOT a crossover I EVER expected
This was cool
Everything in my life changed when I started listening to Doing It Stealthy by Oloff.
Awesome
I somehow found this video by searching "fantano non-english"
Anyway, great interview
The crossover I never saw coming.

Santa has three lists: the naughty list, the nice list, and the Best Songs Ever list (featuring Doing It Stealthy by Oloff)
Not to mention all the great unsigned bands that release music 👀
When worlds collide!!!
Fantano on BBC sounds ? Well well well
Damn, I’m early!
Why does the guest have better mic quality than the actual host 🤨
How in the heck
I know I could talk about music from 2006 for at least a year
What? James Acaster and Anthony Fantano?
POPPADOMS OR BREAD FANTANO, POPPADOMS OR BREAD?!
Doing It Stealthy is one of those songs that makes you ask.... why did God create us? What happens after we die?
What a strange crossover
I want to meet the 1967 guy
This will be the greatest meeting of minds until Beato & Pat Finnerty agree to analyse a song together that's just a bit, well, meh.
melon has rolled into another room. interesting.
I'm out of the loop, why is he obsessed with 2016?
Poppadoms or bread Fantano??? Poppadoms or bread??
200 records from a year that are great? I think these two are forgetting about legacy. Most of it has been forgotten already.
uhhh Anthony on mainstream media
melon gang
Melon and the caster jheez
I'm not alone in saying that Anthony Fantano is hot right?
His wife would probably agree
