I disagree, that is, you're right up to a point. The professor is clearly demonstrating that he is in THE SECOND STAGE OF OWNING THE PIECE. He's not hiding his frequently sight-reading and interpretation. But you can easily FEEL THE POTENTIAL and also feel that if he should continue practicing a little bit more, THAT HE WOULD TOTALLY OWN THE PIECE. And so, yes you could argue that there was no point to come to the floor AT THIS EARLY STAGE IN PRACTICING. But then again you could see this as a PRACTICING EXERCISE IN CORRECT AND PUNCTUATED READING. Of course THE NEXT STAGE has to be PERSONALIZING AND INDIVIDUALIZING. No doubt about that!!!
