3200mhz will boost you some fps, I have upgraded to b450 recently (msi b450 tomahawk max) and I see no difference, because it's still pcie 3.0. But you should still get it because its newer motherboard
I am a little disappointed with the performance. I will be having the same combo in a few weeks, when my 3070 hopefully arrive :D But I will set details much lower. I will never play on less than 100 fps, especially if you have 100hz + monitor.
yep, it should, if you get 7 3700x or 5 5600x you'll get like +10-15 fps but you'll overpay more than 100$ P.S 5 3600 should bottleneck it too if you want to save like 50$
it doesn't make a difference unless it's CL 16 or better ram. 3200mhz CL 16 ram is just as good as most 3600mhz ram. so honestly it's better just to buy a 3200mhz CL 16 kit of ram for like $70 than paying more for the same performance in games
If I wanted to play most games 60fps 1440p would a 3070 and a better cpu do that atm I have a Nvidia 1070 and a rhzen 3600x 16gb ddr4 3600mhz ram, tomahawk b450 max

In this case msa out and 4k, you should be run it 60 Fps +, i got 2060 Super, Enb Normal, Evolved + Reshade ( raytracing ) i run gta V at 58-60fps in 4k, for who wants Natural vision evolved for free check my video, is free :) or go to the real post of reigo torres on youtube, enjoy :)

Im planning to build this when I can find a 3070, this should be good for 1440p gaming
Have you managed to get 3070 yet? If not you should go for ryzen 5600x i have the 3600x and i dont think it brings the best out of the 3070
I’m getting this, 3070 is a beast for that price
I will buy this cpu, my 1600 was suffering from the 3070, now it will be fine, I will lock in 4.3 Ghz and be happy! Thanks

Go for a ryzen 5 5600x its pretty much same price but better performance and the newest gen
Well that some high cpu temp there
bad cooler i think, probably the standard amd ryzen boxed cooler
i want same combo but i will use 3200mhz rams and b450 motherboard. are they boost to fps?

Yes, most games would show 60fps and even more in 1440p with 3070.
Not sure what kind of airflow your case has but your CPU is running way too hot. Also, this exact 3070 hovers around 61c for me.

Doesn't the CPU bottleneck the GPU?
It does
