btw you should max w first when you play soraka because when your q hits the enemy your w's health cost is decreased and it scales as the w levels up (decreases %80-85-90-95-100).
@@phoebusapollon W health cost reduction scales with W level, but so does Q's health regen and movespeed (50-110 with 30% AP scaling, 20-30% movespeed). When you do all the math, assuming you're level 11, have 5 and 3 points into either skill, and bought Shard, Shurelya, and Redemption, the difference in total healing, including the health costs, has W max providing around 70 HP more than Q max, which does around 70 more damage in exchange. What you're trading when you max Q over W is more damage and a stronger rejuvenation buff (movespeed + regen) for less raw healing, and those gaps close as you max both abilities mid to late game anyways. Both are valid, and what you choose to do boils down to your own playstyle, preference and the matchup!

(This is my own take, and still experimental) With runes aftershock, demolish, conditioning, and overgrowth, manaflow band, and the ability haste one(i forgot the name). Items are evenshroud, demonic embrace, zhonya, and other tank items. The goal is to be as tanky as possible and engage. You will really need your teammates in this type of build because you will have no damage. You can also take Rod of Ages so you will not need a tear, but I think Evenshroud is really good since you have root and stun.Try lissandra tank support.
