    This is going to turn out to be a disaster. Now, with the so-called hip drop tackle outlawed, you're going to have people flat out aiming for hips, knees, and ankles. Think about it. You can't grab a guy and stop his momentum in the process of making the tackle so cool, submarine him. Instead of stopping his momentum north-south, you put your shoulder pad on his hip pointer and make him move east-west. Also, the classic Brian Dawkins move (the DAWK-plex) is literally a hip drop. When you look at it, he's grabbing the ball carrier, *_dropping his hips,_* and executing the german suplex. And even if it wasn't, do you trust these nincompoop officials to tell the difference? They can't even figure out what a catch is or what PI actually is.

    At this point, we are going to watch guys make Millions of dollars, playing flag football... Craaaazzzy... And sad part is, the owners want to add that 18th regular season game. So by "making the league more safe" its just going to add another game which IS NOT more safe for the game...

    I said this before, and I'll say it again, the nfl is treating the offense like kids walking across the street holding their mothers hand and a car is coming in full speed 100MPH and the mother pulls the kid back at this point Rodger Goodell has to go man get him outta here

    This rule banning basic-ass tackling is what made me decide to not spend money on a season ticket for my Seahawks. I go to be entertained and this screws up the game. The NFL has gone way too soft. Those guys know what a brutal game this is. It's what they signed up for, literally!

  • @jabarwright4333
    @jabarwright4333 2 месяца назад +3

    You're going to get to a point where defenders are going to retire earlier and earlier because they don't want to play anymore especially since you can pretty much retire off of the NIL money that you're getting in college. The only thing the nfl cares about is money, but by doing this in the long run they will lose money and honestly the NFL could be over within like the next 10 years because no one will want to play.

    Running back and Tight End value is about to go back up. More offensive records will fall, and the game will become unwatchable. We can't get them to call holding on offensive linemen accurately, but they have all the rules for the defense. It feels like every game is going to be like the Pro Bowl before they went to flag football. Instead of changing the rules, they should be investing more in player insurance post-career for these injuries since the owners are so concerned.

They have multiple season-ending injuries every year!!! Also, if player safety is paramount, why are they considering an 18-game season?????

  • @17thNO
    @17thNO 2 месяца назад +1

    They actually want the defensive players to get drug across the field, 80 yard runs, and 80 point games for highlights and records like the NBA which will make the NFL awful like the NBA. Also the referees can then determine games by these calls in close games and situations for gambling purposes.

  • @NateSmith87

    If the NFL really cared, they would remove the one thing that causes more injuries than any hit or tackle. Remove Turf from the game and use Grass, just like they do in soccer and all those leg injuries or injuries in general will drop to an all time low.

You change rules so your favorite stars like Patty Mahomes won't get hurt for the year or you lose bread but won't change all turf to grass. That selective nonsense is wild smh.
