Praying Three Times a Day

Muslims pray five times a day.
It is called the Salah.
Salah is a ritual taught by Muhammad of Islam, where a Muslim faces the direction of the Mecca. The prayer involves certain actions that form a cycle, during which the devotee recites verses from the Qur’an and chants the Divine Names of Allah.
These are vain repetitions.
The Jews pray three times a day.
The Shema is regarded by many Jews as the most important prayer in Judaism. This is because it reminds them of the key principle of the faith - there is only one God. This part of the Shema is taken from the Torah : Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One.
David and Daniel both mention praying three times a day.
Psalm 55:17 KJV
[17] Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
Daniel 6:10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.
GOD WANTS US TO PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
Acts 12:5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
Romans 1:9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;
1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
2 Timothy 1:3 I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;
HERE IS A SIMPLE OUTLINE TO START PRAYING THREE TIMES A DAY AND HOW TO DIVIDE UP THAT PRAYER TIME.
In the Morning
Thanksgiving
Praise
Confession
Asking
Ask prayers for you.
Wisdom
Avoid Temptation
Family
Spouse
Kids
Parents
Church members
Friends
Noon.
Pray for People.
During the day, ask people, "Is there anything I can pray with you about?"
At the coffee bar, at the water fountain, after the staff meeting ask them.
Then, write it down, pray for them.
Evening.
Before going off to sleep.
Ask God for a daydream of something you can do for him, and then pray the impossible. Don't limit God.
Pray something so big only God could do it.
Pray for the miracle.
God is looking for people who trust Him to do the big things so He can show Himself strong to the world.
