Greetings Joey. (From Dr Evander) Thank you for your inquiries and interest about our college programs. My name is Dr. Peter Evander. I'm the Registrar and Academic Dean for Independent Baptist Online College. In response to your questions... Our courses are set up very much like a traditional college schedule as far as course and lecture length, but with the flexibility and comfort of working 100% around your schedule. There is no set time frame to finish the courses so you can work at your own pace. Just like regular college, some courses have books that are required reading. The most expensive book that's required from any course that I'm aware of is less than $20. A few courses will have you write a paper. All classes have a midterm and final. Our goal isn't for our courses to be academically difficult, but rather to thoroughly inform and train our students to serve the Lord in whatever capacity He has for them. We have 4 additional degree programs that might be interest in that we haven't published onto our website yet. We are now offering Associates and Bachelors in both Missions and Church Ministries.
