I remember downloading this song as a promo in the late 90's. It was one of the first Mp3's I put on my computer. I was so blown away I ordered all the Forest of Shadows available at the time. Still love this freaking song.

Same here I found this randomly 13 years ago in the most non metal community in the world. Maybe I was the only one who had access to this song, yes! I did spread it or my other metal heads which was only a few in the whole city. I’m so proud and yet emotionally attachment to this song and all its memories.
I used to listen to this song a lot 5 years ago. I'd walk by the highway in cold weathers and in autumn, visit the same place sometimes to watch the moon while I have this song in my earphones. Beauitful days.

I’m one of those who had seen those numbers 12-13 years ago.
& at least 100 views from those numbers were mine all the way from Afghanistan 🇦🇫 with a broken slow azz internet I didn’t know how to download it so I had to play it from RUclips it would take me 10-15 mins.
Listening to this on that geography was special the feelings i will never forget .

Thank you for uploading this. I've loved Forest of Shadows since I was about 17-18. I'm 26 now and it never has gotten old. His transitions from deep guttural growling into harmonic singing is so soothing to me.

I was an assumed metalhead from 13 to 22... I've been in many different places and waves... Last time I listened to Metal I was doing melodic death metal, doom metal and avantgarde metal... Then the weight took me to other places, like post hardcore... You can actually dance that shit.
And tonight, I have no idea how... I remembered this band... Guess Ebony Tears are next.

Usually I sistemi to technical deathmetal or power metal and I never tought that I could like a song slow like that, bit it's rally beautiful
screaming shows much more emotion and makes everything much more epic, it never busts my high, but lifts me up :D
