    many people fear the dark.
but for me, darkness is silence.
and silence gives peace and calmness.
    love this one..

In a modern world where pop music leaves no room for imagination, this song not only causes one to think freely of a lost love and seeming hopelessness, but continues to carry them on to a hopeful ending of new beginnings and joyous uprisings.
Music is the medicine for the soul, and the inspiration of the mind. In this seamlessly blended four part melody, Brunuhville tells a tale that only a person with a passion for music and a desire to share possibly could.
In this reviewer's opinion, The Eternal Forest, is nothing shy of a beautiful compilation. I was saddened when it ended, and in want of more. But I rest easy knowing that Brunuhville will continue to release more excellent songs of equal emotion and calliber.

This music inspired me to attempt anew a writing of a novel. I feel it fitting to share within this page what the music wrought.
This is an unedited script intended for a Visual Novel. The opening. Read at your own discretion.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
They say that when a man dies, his soul finds itself at a crossroads where it must decide on its destiny.
Hell and Heaven, divided - a path to lead us to enlightenment.
    Two paths.
    Egia.
    Indeed, two paths.
Two directions leading to the same fate.
So a soul must decide - what path holds a truer meaning?
    Underneath this… forsaken moon…
Luna… Why have you abandoned us?
The glower of a memory assails me.
“This must be it,” I proclaim, but the words somehow fall soundlessly.
I cannot speak. It is all too clear to me, so words are irrelevant. But I remember…
“Beyond all forests and their lakes, across mountains high and seas; snow flakes. Beyond the skies and winds, beyond the vast expanse of a horizon,
There is a tower so high that only dreams may ever soar to reach its top. It is said that many travelers seek it in hopes of finding its fabled wish-granting power. That must be what thou seeks.”
    “Thank you.”
“Wait, child! Do you wish to die? Boiling blood will only lead thou to an early burial. Art thou unafraid?”
My sight caught a strange, iridescent flower by the window.
The wafts of musky pollen were so dense they caught a glitter in the moonlight.
Touching those petals was so relaxing… So real. Almost like a dreamer’s memory; but I can still feel that gentle, silky caress. Knowing that I reached for it changed nothing; it seemed like it was the other way around.
“Do not be a fool. Desire that burns too strong will only ever consume thou, child. You will die.”
I’m annoyed. But it doesn't matter.
I do not care about ‘destiny’.
“If death is certain, then I choose to face it with all I have. What’s the point of living if I’m not strong enough to bear the consequences?
    But it is too early… So that’s why… I must reach it…!”
I hadn’t really noticed, but the door frame creaks under the weight of my fist. It must be old. The thought of asking it a question flashed through my mind. Am I growing insane already?
Thinking about it, it must be pretty strange, admiring a door. Yet is it not a feat to have survived so long through the weathering of this world…?
    “My, my. How hopeless.
Go, then. Find what thou art looking for. And make peace…”
Her unconditional smile waves me off already. A warm good-bye, wishing me a “do your best!” and a “take care!” But, that’s not true. Her sad smile is deceivingly cheerful.
This is not a good-bye issued to a traveler. This is a final fare-well, given to one who will never return.
Calm acceptance seeps into me. It’s true, isn’t it? I’m never coming back. Destined to wander, to forget my home, who I am. A man left to the currents of fate.
… No. A man treading the path of freedom. To make my own fate - for that, I must seek the Tower. Therein are my answers hidden. My meaning.
Surely it is worth dying for that?
The door knob feels unusually heavy.
The cold metal drinking from my hand. Gorging itself on my fears and hesitation.
But that’s not right either, is it? Those fears, they are not mine. They belong to ‘him,’ and we are no longer the same.
Pushing this open, I free myself from restraint.
Beyond this door, I am no one. A whisper in the mist.
Beyond this door, I am free.
“Wait, child. You remind me of someone I knew long, long ago.”
I glance. Why is that woman still smiling…?
    “------------What’s thine name, child?”
“My name… My name is Phyrro.”
“Hm-hm. Just like 30 years ago. Well, what are you waiting for? Go already. Adventure won’t survive itself, no?”
That sorrowful smile. Behind her blue eyes, what is it she sees?
I only wish she didn’t peer at me as if pleading for what I cannot give.
-------- It was done. On that fateful night; on that night when I decided against fate. That is when this journey began.
The journey of the one they called Phyrro.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

+TehDMCmaniac Consider posting it on writing.com. I've put up a few stories of my own there and the community is phenominally accepting of even the most self-critical of writers (I know your pain about self critizing) You might have to post the chapters as separate works if you're not up to shelling out for the membership to post it as a full on novel.
Also I love your writing style. every word makes a mindscape picture of the events and makes me want to read more. So Kudos to you!

Dark , ancient forests of Time are enigmatic and full of ethereal emotions. Darkness surrounds me, coming back to my ancestral home has soothed my inner soul. The tree line breaks for the moon to shine through, beaming it’s glow to my path , and feeling like I am home . The castle that lay beyond the bard , my home, is within my reach .

I remember a few years ago was when I first fell in love with fantasy. I got on RUclips to find some music and found a lot that I liked. I remember this was the first song of yours I had ever heard. I fell in love instantly and this song would always calm me and I could dream or seem to go to another world when I listened to it. since then I haven't came back to listen as often as I did then, but coming back now makes me wonder why I didn't or why I stopped. the past few weeks have been really tough and hard for me, and today and yesterday especially. I'm glad I was able to happen across this again. it takes me back to when I first found it and your music. reminds me of my dreaming of the woods and my love for what they held and what could happen in them. my imagination ran wild back then and has been less so lately, except for tonight.
brunuhville, your music is a blessing. I know im probably late but thank you so much for doing what you do, it inspires me to keep going and remember the good in life and the adventures and other worlds music can take you to

    A gentle dark does stare
    From depths within
My feet will call me home
    Forget all sin
    Creaking oaks still sway
    Against the breeze
    A beast about to slay
    Is what they sing
    Haunting are the cries
    the forest calls
    Even as it sighs
    I shall not fall
    Oh, carry my feet home
    against the tides
    Of the forest’s aching moans
    within the night
    Desolate is the sky
    That watches all
    Through every blinking eye
    Above the oaks so tall
    Death I do embrace
    When the cold does rise
I leave this world in haste
From each murmur of the night
    Sombre is the moan
    That echoes through the night
    This forest I shall roam
    Chanting of my plight
    A child I shall be
    Forever in this life
    One that no one sees
    Until I take their light.

+Nikhil Sukumar hello. yes every time we sleep our dreams take us to other worlds, try to remember a dream when you wake up, it shows us so much we cant always see, the human brain has so much more to it than we think. We as human beings are only around a very short time, we think we know so much but we know very little, we worry so much about death but not a thing we can do about it, but death is our greatest gift, no one can take it from you, no matter who we are in this world you can never get away from it. life is only a passing of time, our spirit will always live on after death and that has no end, your dreams can take you to places that only dreams can in that time we are very at peace and in worlds that in many ways is where we come from, the mind has ways of showing us stuff but we sometimes dont want to see, the passage of time moves all the time, that is all life is time, and in the end that is all we have is time, how we use that time is so important, but in the end it runs out, just think we are on this earth at this time, billions have gone before us, but as humans we still think we can control everything, but we cant, we have done so much damage to our earth, its only a matter of time before we are all gone and the earth will go on, till another big bang burns it up. so see the good stuff around you while you still can, because every min is important and the wonder of time never ends.

Here's what I wrote while listening to your piece.
Within the wood there does lie
    a wandering aching guy.
    His home forgotten,
    His life in shambles,
    His heart now rotten.
Oh how I relate to he,
    His heart broken,
    his long nights dreary.
    He has yet to die,
    he refuses to rest,
    He lived a lie.
    The one he loved,
    betrayed him.
    His love shunned.
    He wanders that
    dark eternal grove,
    pondering the past.
    Wandering, waiting,
    his memories in droves,
    haunt him turning
    his way from the grove.
    May he find his home,
    may he find his hope,
    May he rest his wandering,
    aching bones.

This still is one of my favorites. I love the several mood shifts that it goes through. It starts out as dark and sad, before moving on to a more lighthearted tone, regressed a little, and then becomes a very determined-sounding rythym. And even when it goes back to the first melody, it doesn't completely return to that tone, as the tones of the previous melodies still linger.

Just because it is dark, means nothing that it is bad. For the night is also a beauty. People mistake it for evil and bad. Both day and night have ones who want to seek good, but each have ones that want to seek evil. Do not mistake my friend that the night is evil, for there may be a time where a creature of the night is our only hope left. Terrors lie in both worlds. But so does hope.

So I thought about adding words to this. It truly is incredible BTW! Here you go:
    The entrance:
My world is in monochrome; in sorrow I weep, for I cannot escape the color blindness and leave into the vast earth where color is present. My Eternal forest; It is dark, shall I never be rescued from this dark abyss?
    The surrounding Darkness:
I run through the black and white, not sure of where to go. My friends and family have all betrayed me; I have no one left. This darkness that surrounds me is always constant, light is never present where I stand or I'll ever stand. The white moon against the black sky, shrouded by that old tree, is that where I should go?
    The old Tree:
Wind swept is the old tree, with creaking branches and grey bark. Is this my savior?
I look around in hope I might use for escape. Nothing is there. I cry again, tears of dew and ice. A single tear grazes the root of the old tree and soaks into the old bark. I look up to see a beautiful willow tree, with white flowers adorned on every inch of it. I run around a cheer and cry. tears of joy. Then something truly astounding happened. As I cried I could see; colors, new opportunities, and new found feelings. I knew what I had to do now.
I have to stop there for know, but if you like it I'll keep writing! BTW I'm only 11 and I wrote this!!!

      The Hamelin Flautist:
I hear the flute, as I continue to celebrate my newfound joy, I hear the sounds of the Hamelin flautist, helping my soul find its peace. I let it relax me, as everything dark faded away, trapped in the warm abyss of the music. I had my peace.
      Hellgaze Lair:
The darkness came once more, trapping me once again. I felt the pain, I felt the sorrow I'd thought was gone. I felt lost, I felt trapped my own Hell. No hope, only blackness around. I desperately tried to find my peace, lost inside the darkness. Darkness is all felt and saw was the deep black colors. Until one little piece of hope came before me: one ray of moonlight. I let it guide me.
      Moonlight:
My tears of joy shone through. The color, emotions, everything had made its way back into me. Where it belonged. My faith was restored. My peace, my dreams, came into me once more. I held onto them, not willing to let darkness come back to me. Never will I let darkness back. I will never allow it in. I will always hold in my new light, new hope. I had hope, never to let it go. The moonlight guided me down a path to hope. Freedom. My forever dark Eternal Forest is finally at rest. As the moonlight shines, I am as free as it is. Always.
      The End.
Great piece by the way! We're close in age, and I don't think mine is as good as yours. You should really consider becoming an author or poet. You'd be good :D
