    This is a nice trick. I wonder if this could add even more deception and surprise. I think some of the surprise is lost when the spectator sees the card face up before the final reveal. Rather than get the card 10th from the bottom, get it 10th from the top. Deal the first 5 cards face down into your hand, cover them and say that you don't think it's in this pile. Turn them over to show that indeed, the card is not there. Then deal the next 5 cards, on the last card do the transfer sleight then place your hand over the card and say that you think it's in this pile. Ask the spectator what the card is, remove hand turn over their card.

    This is actually quite difficult... it requires counting, distracrion, conditionting, slight of hand, and acting... when some of the most brian boggling c
    Face to face card tricks require nothing but pure sleight of hand and misdirection. Its a good trick if done right but not just a beginner trick.
