Good job explaining, getting ready to do mine. Just wanted to add that you will need a "memory saver" and an alternate 12v power source to plug in the car (obm port or even cigarette lighter depending on the car). Without, you can cause computer problems, even the push button start may not work after if computer stops getting power during removal. Plug first the alternative power source, then change battery.
