Lindsay D, Please don't blame her for your own limits and abilities. You may be a good drawer but she is very good at doing these so maybe you just need to learn another way.
Olivia Girl drawing videos are supposed to be easy.. Not hard I typed in easy tutorials and this came up so I watched it and it was too hard and I'm unsatisfied so I un subscribed
You should do a video on how to draw an equestria girl! I think it would be very helpful and give people more of a creative boost because u can give them an outfit rather than JUST hair! Just a suggestion!😛
Actually I think the first pony looks like Sunset Shimmer a little! You draw so beautiful and flawless I want to draw like you one day! You've helped me ALOT. At first on my ponies I was like "WHAT THE HECK DID I JUST DRAW?!?" And now I am actually satisfied with them. And in you're how to make a stallion video...SO helpful! Thanks so much! :D
I use prismacolor markers as well. You should try going over the markers two or three times using card stock paper... It will come out bolder and blend together better. Great drawing too!!! :3
One thing I recommend is getting a pencil kit. I personally use either Derwent Soft Kit of Faber-Castel 12 pencil kit. Derwent has various compressions of soft to hard graphite, while the 12 piece kit has a mixture of the three. Its just a recommendation. For basic drawing, I use either 4h to 6h.
Dawn, you're awesome. Like, your tutorials are great, but even disregarding the quality of the tutorials, your voice and the words you use make you sound like a generally awesome person.
I do erase a lot of the pencil marks as I go, but also the colored pencils I'm using are Prismacolor. They're higher quality than Crayola for example, so they're more thick. Thank you for the compliment :)
Whoa! You are so good at choosing the color combination! Usually when I draw an awesome pony I use all these cool colors and then once I finished coloring, the pony looks all messaged up .-.
The green one would be Blooming Music, and she would be related to Daisy, you know, one of the flower ponies, then one with the pink coat and green mane. Her talent is playing the reed pipes and any other musical instrument made from plants.
The pink one would be Ribbon Flourish and her talent is making accessories, just as Rarity's is making mostly dresses and formal wear, and she is a cousin of Rarity's on her (Rarity's) mother's side.

I ind of knew how to draw ponies a bit and thought it was pretty good, but it's amazing how much the little things, such as the dynamic lining in the mane and tail, can make such a huge difference in the quality of the drawing. OK, Here I go with the names for the ponies, (deep breath) The blue one looks like she could be related to Colgate, (Minuette) so I think that her name would be Minty Star, and her talent would be orthodontics, just as Colgate's is regular dentistry. Her stars cutie mark would represent the perfect smiles that her patients get when the braces come off.

Send those drawings to the Hasbro place and ask if they could be put on the show because that is where they belong
That is the exact reason I use mechanical pencils.
I've had those smear too... but I suppose it depends on the lead.

for blending colored pencils, i usually go over it with white so it makes the color not as splotchy :) just a tip

Depends on what I'm using. Bristol for markers/ colored pencil, watercolor for watercolor or mixed media, etc.
