I love the old school cake recipes like orange cake.. reminds me of when my mum used to make it. Why would you ever buy a cake when you can easily make this delicious cake from scratch at low cost. Thanks so much for the recipe ❤️
Zest all citrus fruits and let it air dry in a saucer on the counter. Store it in reused spice jars and you'll never have to buy zest again. Use it in baking, tea, smoothies and stir fries.

I enjoyed to see the new whisk. If you have some juice left you could poke some small holes in the cake with a toothpick e.g. and let some very thin icing or just some juice run into the cake, you can apply it with a pastry brush, the cake will be even better and nothing goes to waste

I LUV orange cake 😋. I presume you can do the same recipe for lemon cake? Another one of my favourites. What I would really like is a good recipe for coffee cake - my all time favourite.
