Like this comment if poker hasn’t been going your way either this summer 🙋🏻♀️ How are you guys handling it? Asking for a friend… 😬
Yeah I’ve been on a losing streak lol I am going to take a break for a few months study and goto the casino near me after saving up a decent bankroll for 1/2
Poker is about the ebb and flow. At times, you're winning everything, at times not at all.
Life works similarly... if your friend is in an ebb, with time.... he will be abundant in wins and the flow will happen again! It's all about Confidence, keep it up Ash
Was playing a few tournaments at aspers london, big time struggling, might have a little break 😎 great vid, thank you 🥳🙏🏼
Running cold & trying play more. Always trying focus on making better decisions until the cards turn my way. 😉
I run my own poker league in Phx with 3 tables and I've been struggling to even make it final table. I have some good opponents and sure, its not easy being a player/dealer in your own game, I get told that I have some tells, and I'm sure I have more than most, with the addition of dealing. I don't like to use that as an excuse. I recently broke the streak tho, after about 10 games, and I actually had back-to-back cashes. One at MY game, and at another home game. I honestly don't know what to say about "handling it". I feel like its just as they say.."variance". You'll hit those Peaks and Valleys in this crazy game. Will you give up or will you get back up and try again another day and keep moving forward? Keep in mind that its just a game, don't take it so serious, have some fun and learn as you go.
Thanks for the full tournament experience. Your positive attitude is very much appreciated as well. Keep the run good going!
To be honest I like seeing these types of vlogs keeps it realistic I feel like that’s something you don’t get with RUclips poker you’re literally seeing everyone’s biggest hands of their lives
You're obviously a skilled player, which makes watching you play and hearing your analysis enjoyable and worthwhile. What really knocks me out is your ability to access a sense of joy despite the swings. Things can never be that bad when you watch those beautiful dogs bounding up a hill. It may seem paradoxical, but your big day is coming AND it's already here!
Great video, as usual! Thumbs up for Ashley's sister for that top notch editing!
Keep pumping out these Vlogs Ashley. Your overall demeanor and attitude towards poker and life in general is very refreshing. Keep grinding and it will certainly reward you. GG's to you and Coach, and good luck in the next one
Great quality and attention to detail - best MTT vlog
This was one of your best blog ever! I appreciated your emphasis and reference to activities outside of poker … and your dogs. So important. In fact, I am as big a fan of your dogs as I am of you! Couldn’t make it out to Vegas this summer, but I wish you the best of luck and I hope to see you on the table in the fall. Good luck!
I'm as "recreational" as poker players get, but I appreciate your vlog for helping me understand how better players think. Not only does it give me a destination in my own efforts to play better, but it also helps me deal with skilled players when I know what level they're working on. Thanks!
Hey you... glad to see you back and healthy again!!! Your play is always good to great... matching your commentary!
Thanx for the bringing me along for the ride!
PS, luv you dogs 🐕
PPS, your "poker coach" is pretty 😎 as well!!! 🤗
25K subscribers, a commendable milestone
Your intros are so HYPE Ashley! Huge fan of your content! Keep it up! I won’t be satisfied until you eclipse Jesse!
Haha only many millions to go 😂
@@AshleySleeth You OWNED Bonomo! You’re practically already a super high roller :)
Another excellent vlog!!! thank you Ashley
I feel your pain.. I came out last weekend played 5 tournaments & got sucked out every single one of them.. ugh.. I'm still coming back for more
I truly appreciate footage of other poker players grinding it out and occasionally struggling with that grind. It gets me thru the many times I go hours without getting decent hands and then missing every flop when I do, and then I find myself thinking, "Damn, this never happens to Scott Seiver or Jake Schindler, what am I doing wrong?!"
Good stuff!
Yes! We all go through it. It can feel discouraging if you think you’re the only one. Glgl 🔥
Like your vlog. It’s always good to see inside someone else’s head and use that information to better your own game.
Thanks
Fantastic Orange behind the computer, looks amazing
Love your channel Ashley... Fur babies are so awesome All the best to you!!
I love how real you keep it!
I'm a new subscriber... You have a real personality that shines on camera..
I hope you crush it going forward!
I love your positive attitude and great energy.
This video was awesome!
I like those jumpers (sweaters) you have with the thumb holes in. Look so comfy!
Keep these coming
I'm not running good,so unless a miracle happens, I won't be coming to Vegas in July to play in the 2022 WSOP Main Event! I'm disappointed but I hope that your cards turn around for you!🍀I was Kelly Minkins Good Luck Charm in 2018,so Good Luck Ashley!🍀
Awesome video. I wish I could tell you about how I'm doing in poker because I don't get to play. In August we are heading to Laughlin and I will get to play there. Good luck playing the WSOP and lets bring home a win. Thanks for sharing.
"Success Is Going from Failure to Failure Without Losing Your Enthusiasm!"...Poker is about keeping that Enthusiasm. I have had a really rough year and have decided to take the rest of the year off. I'll play the occasional event here in town but no longer going to dedicate study time and hand reviews. I think the swings are taking a negative affect on my spirit that is impacting my daily appreciate and finding it difficult to be grateful for all the wonderful things I do have in my life. Keep up the great work and best of luck in the rest of the Series. Namaste
Nice Vlog as usual. Cute dogs 🐕.
Best of luck to you & your CardsChat Team!
Honestly, I don't always agree with your poker decisions, but I think you've been correct 50% of the time 😉 I continue to follow and support you because you are so freaking positive. All of the time. It's infectious.
WOW interesting vlog So true its the true story of the tourney player Patience is a players best friend Thanks for the content
I'm a new sub and I like this video, it shows the truth about how 90% of poker tournaments go.. 😊
This reminds me of Exploration Park in Mountains Edge. Teller the Magician lives just to the side of that park.
Note to Jesse: One of the fundamental principles Dan Harrington talks about is generally betting your strong hands and checking your weak ones. When you have a good hand the turn, he says bet 3/4 pot most of the time. No way that guy calls with air with that size bet. Plus, if he does have a straight draw, he’s not getting the right price.
My thing is if you have a weak king there or if you’re on draw, you have to pay me to see the river. Doesn’t matter to me if it’s a cash game or a tournament. I’ve seen a lot videos of Vegas pros checking back turns when they’re strong, and frankly it scares me. I think, why give your opponent a free opportunity to hit their miracle river?
GOOD MORNING AND GOOD LUCK TO YOU ASHLEY HAVE FUN TOO AND ASHLEY I HOPE THAT YOU FEEL REAL BETTER SOON TOO
why do you only have 25k subscribers? Such great content more people need to know about this channel!
This was informative still! I can’t imagine how many hands you actually play on a weekly basis hahah
I like the "cut to the chase" clips
Omg you had Covid?! I did at the beginning of the year and I’m fully vaccinated. Thank god you’re alright! I’m really glad you’re a tourney player. I’ve realized I’m really weak in cash games versus tournaments and gonna focus on tournaments online
Beautifully edited!! Love the inclusion of breaks and want more dog shots!
(Your eyes look like you aren't fully over Covid. Hope you get there sooon.)
Great attitude and content. Love your dedication to the game and your viewers. When you feel yourself becoming tilted or negative whats your process? Meditation, yoga, bend Jessie’s ear? A combination?
Keep it up and good luck for the rest of the series.
Aloha
Just found you here
Great energy and smile better luck ahead..
Doggos make all things better!
How has Covid affected you? I ran 20 miles the day before I got Covid -had a moderate case for like 4 days and have been absolutely zapped since. Got the paxlovid so thought would have felt better but maybe without it would have been even worse. Looking to play in early July so excited to be able to watch these vlogs and learn your perspective on things!
I see some of the other comments and I am a little surprised. Wasnt really much substance. Looking forward to the next one!
Your smile is contagious
I am glad to see you playing a little more aggressively. You are sincerely a pleasure to view and listen talk strategy. Keep up the good work! I would have liked to have seen those high percentage deal cards played out toward the end. I am surprised you lost so many. Glad to hear you are on the mend. Covid is still nothing to play around with...
One question. How do you play pocket deuces? For me they are so completely unassuming and overlooked, I like playing them to try and hit trips on the flop. Thoughts?
Kirby thats neat that-that is something you notice about the game. How some hands seem “overlooked”. I’ll tell you what though, it’s not about deuces being hidden its more of the fact of how you structure your range as you play the game and how you structure each hand according to each position. Also factor in what level of blinds you are at especially if it is a tournament and equate how many BBs you have vs an opponent’s shoving/opening range and you will find that in most instances 22 is an outright fold especially when running deeper in tournaments and is super volatile in cash games considering every card in the deck is higher than a deuce and it has low removal to straights & sensible flushes. Good luck on the felt bud, Im glad you had fun destroying someones life with quackers when they had AQ sooted on a dry board. Cheers Kirby and gl on the felt!
doğa dediğin çölün ortası da olsa seni seviyoruz
You mentioned how poker players have a syndrome of having to tell everyone about hand histories. I'm at the point where I remember hand histories better than players. I didn't recognize a name until my friend told me "I guess you had JJ and called his shove preflop where he had AK and then you scooped" and I instantly knew who he was talking about.
Poker players sound like golfers, who replay their rounds too 😂😂😂
Every time I go to Vegas I always go to Red Rocks...the anti-Vegas
and dogs keep their loving humans in the NOW!!! watch out for coyotes!!!
You play mostly tournaments or u play cash games as well ?
Is there some shortage of hairbrushes in your household? Don't let him leave the house like that, mom.
Glad to have met you at mgm grand poker tourney. Sorry to take most of your stack but you kept running into my nuts.
Lexi Gavin said she played with you in the milly maker a couple days ago 🤷
Variance is a miserable companion in this game. It will come around. You’re a tight, solid player. Keep swinging!
Hey i saw you on that one girls channel
More dogs please 🐕
Jessie has a good head of hair but why does it always look like he stuck his hand in the socket?
\o/
Is there a reason you've not protected your dogs' feet from the heat? You should try walking on that
Did Jesse get COVID too?
It looked like you were getting good cards and playing so well - what happened? I would have lost more in that 75 hand because I probably would have bet over half pot on the turn for protection. You lost the minimum.
I think with your premium hands like JJ and AQ, maybe just flat those raises sometimes if they’re folding to your 3 bets - take a chance every once in a while to get more chips in the pot. I hate it when I have a very good hand and everyone folds. I think in tournaments you have to mix things up and keep them guessing - with bet sizes too - so they have no idea what you’re doing.
Very cool to show the boring ugly side of poker also. It can be a real b**** sometimes with little to no reward no matter if you play it right or wrong. Luck is luck
Bro you go from like 25k in stack to like 60K in 1 minute of video. Seems like a few hands are missing or maybe not.
She literally explained how she got there lmao. Got a double, then 3 bet and took down small pots
@@Psyc0tic I didn’t see the footage . Thanks for your input
Do you always have false titles for your vlogs?
Best part about clicking on your videos is to fast forward to the end where you make excuses as to why you lost again. You never disappoint fish 🐠
So graphics were weird.. first hand it showed you lose 3000 but you won the pot? Secondly you left at break with like 7k and found a double up to over 25k? Doesn’t make sense.
Hey there! I enjoyed the video and never seen you before but I just wanted to let you know that the clickbait title was not cool… didn’t sub might watch another if recommended.
If your content is good and you are a good person you will do well - I might be wrong but I feel like clickbait isn’t the right direction?
Anyway just my 2c - good luck and have fun :)
Cracks me up that people now advertise being and idiot via unneeded masks. Such people are useful though.
Enough with the covid pity plea. Been less than 2 minutes and that's all I hear about.
