I adore your Chanel and you! Though I enjoy seeing all the Maiden Witches who have Chanels here, it’s especially nice ( and needed) to see a seasoned Witch on RUclips, they are far and few between .... You are a wealth of information, charming and forthright.. thank you for inviting us into your home and showing that Witching is a way of life 🖤🧹

As usual, very insightful :-) I think some people come from a pre-programmed Christian view, that all you do is ask and it will be given, but in our community our craft works differently, it is us in tune with nature/deities...it is our energy alongside that can work over a period of time. It is like cooking, especially the kind that you are doing, we prepare, we add, we mix, we tend :-) xxBB

love your metaphorical way of teaching...there are many wise women in the craft, and they show express their wisdom uniquely. What you remind me of is so primordial....so elemental...it is a reminder to get moving, get creating.

Such a wonderful VR and sage advice, as always - but it's so hard to stop watching when there are videos as engaging as yours! Loving the sauerkraut too - a great analogy. :0) x

Aw, nice to see your hubby. I LOVE sauerkraut, my maternal Grandfather was polish and my grandmother was Czech/Austrian/Hungarian and man, could she cook. I loved all her homemade polish food. What I have been learning is although I am new to all this, I've been leading a magickal life my whole life. 🤓 Growing up Greek Orthodox Roman Catholic we would pile the entire Easter feast into the trunk of the Buick and drive it an hour away to the church where we could have the food blessed in polish by a priest. Standing in the parking lot starving. Ha. Such good memories. Your videos rock, keep up the great work.

Good advice guidwife and hubby, I send way too much time on the computer but I always make time to practice learning the guitar and you are so right when I complain that I don't have any time for my spirituality, it should be made part of my routine like music practice. My father in-law loved sauerkraut being Lithuanian and living in England he could hardly get hold of any. It was a treat when he got hold of a jar and my hubby used to say that the house stunk as he used to warm it up and have it with sausages. Not sure why he never made any himself! it is so easy and I am going to have a go as I love it too, many blessings to you both Rosie xx

I love this! Very inspiring as a new witch who often gets anxious about practicing the craft :) I'm also inspired to give making saurekraut another go ( the last time I tried making it it didn't turn out well haha!) Thank you! :)

My grandma and I made kraut when I was younger, with raw cabbage, non-iodized salt, and did most of what you did here, but rather than a crock, we put the kraut into half gallon heavy canning jars, and used the core (or part of it) to wedge in the TOP of the jar, to keep the kraut below the brine. :) Worked just fine. ;) Blessed Be!

Hello Rebecca. I found you toady. I just ordered a "why and wherefore" spell book by Deborah Lipp and a Spellbook as reference by Judika Iles, then found your video here which covers the reason why I don't witch as much as I desire..... After thinking on this today, from watching Lady Gravedancers video. I have to smile :) Blessings, Helen and thank you :)

I remember making kraut with my grandmother and my Dad, many times while growing up... and canning fruits, veggies, makiing jelilies, jams, etc, ... and homemade breads, etc. There is a degree of magick or "witchin' " involved in all of those things. :) It's dong the practica things with reverence that makes it all magickal and good!! thank you!*HUGS*

I believe that one doesn't need to cast a spell every day (even tho I tend to without even realizing some times) but I think people are deterred because there are people that say that you have to cast every single day in order to be a great witch. also, a witch doesn't necessarily have to be a spell caster. if I spend at least 3 minutes at my altar whether that may be putting a stone back or lighting a candle or an incense, then you're still stirring up some sort of energy. so when you do go to cast if that's your thing, the energy will already be there to use. not that it wasn't before, but you do get the idea. sorry if I came across as vague in any way.
also, you and Tequila have similar vibes and when you started talking about her I was like, "I knew it!"

great video. see you are practicing your craft while in the kitchen, I think many believe that to practice one has to go full circle, robes, and a few hrs into the process when I think it just takes a moment of your time to dedicate to your situation, like your finances for example, you would take the time to create a budget, your car is messed up you take time to get it fixed....same thing....taking the time, a moment, its not being greedy and asking for things, it can be a spiritual experience with no tools, or it can be a full elaborate ritual. the point is to practice what you believe in...hmmm here is a lil drop of wisdom....lets think about.I mean really think about why do we believe in the craft in the first place... yes I will think about this and what does it mean to me...Blessed Be )O(

Merry Meet, new subbie here.I have a few theories of my own,on watching her video about this subject I immediately thought not all Witches do videos so who the statistics on that question if they use their practice more often than not!!! Then there was a time I was discussing this with my son and it came down to this, it's just my opinion, if you do a spell and ask for something are you not to ask and leave your request with your deity,in some cases, you do a seven-day candle for some bigger requests. My son said the universe works in ways that you should not beg for things,my response to him Witches don't beg they change/manipulate energy to work for them.He said isn't that going against Universal Laws,so I said most Witches go against Universal laws or don't believe in Universal Law.And the debate went on and on about Universal Laws.I give up.I do my spells most times I will redo them if I don't get results but I find if I ask for something reasonable it usually works.and I always give thanks. So my question is do a lot of Witches believe in Universal Law.Hmmm.Your sauerkraut looks awesome, and I loved the hat look. Many Blessings...)0(

I had to go and check out the video! No rain; it was August, so that had to be a very powerful electric floor fan blowing my way (near the camera). We have no air conditioning, so fans are on all summer long. Thank you for your comment on my kitchen. We aren't quite finished yet, but close. And the tiles are my favorite, as well!

    Hello thank u for videos!!
Have u tried going back to more just eating from earth i tried juicing that way i take in my water for the day together with some greens that help me feel more free of pain and that way i think more of my rituals. We r suppose to drink 1/2 of our body weight in water to help keep flow of nutrients easy. In old times people ate pure from the earth so our rituals as well were clear without toxins. Best wishes
