Humm what if we all believe it; do what we have to do for years with expectation but then as so much time has passed and after plenty disappointments you turned passive cuz you are drained?
It helps me a lot to go through all the times He has come through, and all the confirmations He’s given, to even remind Him of His word like she mentioned. What the Lord has shown me recently is you either hang on to His words, His promises, His track record for coming through, or you hang on to your ideas, expectations, disappointments. You can do one or the other but not both! also you can always ask Him to renew your strength, give you a fresh word about your situation, or a confirmation to give you hope!❤️
Thats not living for god though🥺, thats living for yourself, because the Lord gives strength to endure hard times not provides a pacifier and a bottle of milk, he allows things to happen so we are strong, like moses, because he was tortured by the complaints of the israelites, yes he grew weary, but he didn't give in, and let god guide him, if we just want god for what he can get, we dont love him, in no way shape or form we do, if we did. We wouldn't yell at god, blame him, or be upset at not getting exactly what we want, we are not meant to be worshiped, nor Exalted, nor served. God gives us things because he wants to give us gifts, not because we deserve it, so therefore on His timing, it would come all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”2 Peter 3:9 NIV. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.1 Corinthians 13:4 (ESV) Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.
Is the silence a test? Is the failure his will? Decades of hard work destroyed by a 4 year economy doesn’t make sense to me. He took away everything and only gave me back a need to end it all. I’m done. Why has he forsaken us?
God hasn’t forsaken you RickHill. I may not know the extent of your pain or struggles, what I know is the God who sees you is mindful of you deeply and he will come through for you.

I have reached this point and honorably I say to the Lord with all my chest: what do you want of me Lord how much more can I love you and take on?
