Just found your channel mate it's my first year gardening just pulled my first onion i grew from seed. It's only 2/14 inch big but the stalks had bent over above the head for a few days so thought i'd better take it out.I'm made up haha.Have a lovely night.
Cheers. I'll be growing more Senshyu onions from seed in the days ahead. I'm chuffed you're enjoying your gardening and what's not to love, you get to eat what you grow, which is fantastic. Thanks again for watching and commenting.
Those Senshyu Yellow Onions look fantastic! 🧅 It's great to see the successful harvest and learn about the process. Thanks for sharing your tips and the satisfaction of lifting such a wonderful crop
Nice little harvest of onions 🙂How long were they in the ground for? You could do a vid on making that soup and dumplings, lol. Sounds lovely. My mother always made dumplings but I never seemed to master a good technique. Thanks for sharing.
I originally sowed these seeds back in September 2023, then neglected them for a few months and eventually potted them on and then planted them out at the end of April this year. So they had close to 3 months in their final planting place. Hopefully the next batch for next season will be better cared for. I'll definitely make a future video about the soup making. Thank you for your encouragement.
Like Video my friend 😊👍
Greetings
Thank you, I'm hoping to be stringing them up in a video sometime soon.

Thank you. I'll hopefully be stringing this crop, possibly in a video, and sowing more in the week ahead.
