0:34 Always loved this weird transition to some kind of crazy "circus-like" music. The next part with the sudden organ transition while the circus music slowly fades away and the song loops is beautiful. Such a great soundtrack, really!!!
@Hanz Mchiggin The Shining's theme is just slower paced and deeper toned. But it is indeed the same, and both are derived from the Gregorian chant "Dies Irae"
@@soulhoney1908 barely,🤣 I would distract the toddler and she would use the chest five or six times to weaken it and I would shoot the cannon at it for five times
As soon as I heard it all I could think of was "AROOOO" and how you had to haul ass to get a few of the neighbors or else the werewolves would get to them first

I still get swept up in that dies irae organ loop. It rocked my world as a kiddo.
"AROOOOOO" "AROOOOO!!!"
"OW!"
*Neighbors die*
every fucking time
God this game has such a good soundtrack
Agreed
I just had that same thought and came here. Amazing how just hearing a goofy little 8 bit soundtrack can take me back to 5th grade.
still love this game especially the soundtrack, even if it's 2023😊
The beginning sounds like The Shining! I never noticed this!
It's actually from "Dis Irae" a gregorian chant.

@@BlueAsheswe know. It’s a reference to the shining and other movies that have used it in their soundtracks
One of the best damn games of the age.
So many great memories playing this game with my sister when we were kids.

AudioTrax I know how you feel lol.
Amo esta melodía! Es super adictiva!
A lot of these tracks had “Monster Mash” feel. They’d have eerie parts that then got all jazzy
Tis fitting for a game all bout monsters
Most of the enemies in this game were inspired by classic horror movie monsters. And even a few levels were inspire by old horror movies.
The pyramid theme for me felt very monster mash-ish.
The drums in this song are so good
Can you believe this game was released almost 25 years ago?!
And now it's getting a port to the switch
@@Tis-I i like to play on ps4/5 with my irl buddies
@@lebonk8081 nice!

AROOOOOO as this game had one of the best soundtracks as I enjoyed playing this on SNES.

Don't know why, but as the theme ends (before looping again), it sounds more appropriate for a game over screen.
Came here bc the other video has disabled comments and i have to zay that this soundtrack is RAD
This was ripped straight from Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique, 5th movement
Really? I thought it was from the original Dies Irae in gregorian chant, check it out!
This music rules! The only thing that's better is the game!
Agreed lol I jailbroke my phone to play this game lol.
They should put a ghoul knight level in that game it’s medieval of terror
