I agree that George could have used the emotional support that I believe Andrew provided him during the Wham years. But then I'm not entirely convinced that Andrew had the skill & talent to guide George's solo career as well as George himself had ! George was so multi talented in the musical arena and Andrew as a musician, singer was definitely lacking. Andrew provided the look to complement George's good looks and the confidence and moral support which George needed and lacked. But again, he lacked the big natural talent that George had so it's hard to say if a singer/manager relationship would have worked with these two.

But if it wasn’t for Andrew we would not have heard of him so we got a lot to thank Andrew for. I would agree. Very talented musician and performer all around. Sad he died way too soon ! I think the demons finally claimed him. They haunted him in the form of his drug addictions and depression. I can sympathize with some of his struggles. I wish he could have survived them.
This whole clip has awful canned music as a backing not one of Georges amazing songs were featured. These people really did not understand Greorge his heart, his outstanding talent or his whole allure.

Andrew Ridgley is/ was a very lucky man to be carried by someone so beautiful as G.M, he was the clever one, without him you know you wouldnt be where you are today, that said, Andrew played a very important roll also. The biggest regret of my life, not being in a position to afford seeing you both in concert, massive regret, loved wham, love G Michael, what a shame he's not here anymore!

That woman at 20:20 saying “George was far more talented than Andrew” doesn’t know what she is talking about! George was a knockout talent pure genius! But if it wasn’t for Andrew we would not have heard of him so we got a lot to thank Andrew for. George was quite shy and Andrew was not 😂they helped each other so much and maybe Andrew wasn’t a musical genius but he had the drive and the passion to want to make it big and George always wanted people to know that and actually they both decided to end Wham as they didn’t want to become a cabaret act. They both were fantastic together and helped push each other to greatness and they both got what they wanted!

Andrew did feel a way about the split. He la ut e said in a interview with George and replied he didn't know that the split Hurted Andrew that way. This is why I said that Andrew should've became George manager.
Just not sure if Andrew had the talent. If he had, it would have been a nice arrangement for both of them. Just hard to say. But by all accounts, Andrew was a good friend, and that definitely would have been a big help to George as he built his solo career.
