Another alternative recommendation: I just picked up the bellroy weekender, which is functionally similar to a duffel but fancier, and has some of the best organization I've tried. It's 30L but also comes in a weekender plus version that's 45L. You should check it out!
Great review thanks. I like this bag, very cool. Yep more padding on the shoulder strap makes sense. Not sure about the water bottle compartments but not a deal breaker for me
Hey Aaron-those clips that are used for the straps on the 25L Duffel-I was going to ask if you knew what they were or if they are durable and what they are, but it appears you answer that-which is why I went back to watch this video. (I believe they use them on their 5L Sling too.). Noticing that Pakt appears to be also be using that style of clip on their V2 Travel Backpack-based on any of the early advance pictures I have seen. I am pressed to try remembering any other backpack that uses that type of clip.
So I’ve been waiting for you to review this bag. First because if I decide to buy I want to use your link and second I want to know if it would hold a small a medium and a large packing cube which it’s a what I travel with and not one of the videos I’ve seen have shown.
Thanks for the support with our links! Unfortunately I didn’t have any packing cubes on me when we shot this - maybe reach out to Pakt to see what they say? #miamilove
I saw, a couple of years ago, some suggesting the two bag carry. A duffle for the bulky clothes (when going to a colder climate) and things you are not allowed in carry-on and a daily backpack of 21-24 litres as carry-on taking your expensive tech gear and those batteries that are not allowed in cargo. One of the companies suggesting this no longer sell a duffle. I guess it didn't work out well for them. I carried a packable duffle for some bulky items I took as gifts and then as a protection for my main bag as on internal flights the 5kg limit meant I could not take everything as carry-on. It was also easier when moving about on the trains and in cabs.
Fire extinguishers... Did I somehow miss a page in the One Bag Travel Handbook? and should I be carrying one 7000 miles from home? ya know... just in case...
@@Nomads.Nation hey Aaron... the most difficult thing for me is finding the best wallet that holds a fair amount-cards only since cash always goes in one of my cargo pants pockets- but doesn't kill my butt... these metal newfangled ones I found to be unusable... what do u use and have you thought about reviewing a few..
@@mkphilly I use Bellroy slim sleeve - big fan. I agree on the metal ones, they look great but aren't too functional. I've got a review of the Aviator Wallet (German made) coming out soon - keep an eye out!

Will do - thanks so much for the recommendation!!

Agreed on the water bottle holders, and I’m sure there are duffel straps you can buy on Amazon that will help the comfort (if need be)
Love my Aer Travel Weekender. My favorite duffel so far.
It’s a great one for sure
@@Nomads.Nation I actually bought the Aer Weekender a few weeks back because of your review!
@@sleeper1023 nice! hopefully with our links ;)
but seriously, super stoked to hear you like it!

I'm not 100% sure what they are, but they are quite effective. Stoked to see them on the V2!

Interesting idea! 2-bag carry makes sense depending on the airline/destination - this would be an ideal duffel for that

Yes! Just in case! 🤣
How's the quality compared to the Pakt one duffel? Great video.
Thanks dude! Pakt one has better quality materials imo but this is still solid across the board.
Would the laptop for the new 16in MacBook Pro? And when a laptop is in there, does the bad stay standing or does it tip?
Not sure, I’d recommend reaching out to Pakt - they’ll get you sorted 💪🏾
Padding on the shoulder strap is a requirement for me, even on a smaller bag like this. I had a duffel with out it and never again.
Totally get where you are coming from - I was really disappointed in the lack of padding :/
Duffel no, backpack always.... review=👍
I 100% agree Mark, I’m not really a duffel-guy either unless I’m going to the beach for a day or something
