That was beautiful!!!!! Thanks for sharing . Hope you can visit “The Wall” again and show some more of the cool little shops and more of the amazing history of this ancient place
Your knowledge and skill of cinematography is so excellent that to a person who doesn't know you would assume you belong to this profession only.. I really appreciate the angles, music, the pauses and the connection you build with the individual walking.. The place is definitely beautiful, but I am more in awe of how you captured it All. 🌟 perhaps you could make video about your tips and tricks on how you record and edit.
Thank you so much for the very kind words. We put a lot of thought into the filming and editing process and sometimes wonder “will anyone even notice these minute details we’re agonizing over?“ 😅 So that really means a lot.
@@2hearts1seoul I notice the details all the time and appreciate them so much. Your's is a vlog channel I really like to follow and watch because of the high quality video, the narration, the aesthetics, the b-rolls. ✨
What a gorgeous day for this hike!!! It is so beautiful. I saw another RUclipsr who was visiting Korea has done the entire length. It looked so interesting going through different sections of the city. I’m so glad that Kyuho can experience all the fall colors on such a lovely day! Absolutely stunning! Thank you for sharing this! Seoul’s weather looks perfect right now!
What a beautiful historical walk! Thank you for taking us along! Would Love it if you would do an interview video with the elders on why they are so Healthy!
I watch your videos each week (and love them!) but this one just hit different!!! Loved you guys exploring Seoul's history and sharing it with us, and the landscape and views were breathtaking! The energy in this video was immaculate~
Just beautiful! Love these types of vlogs where we get to see different parts of the city! Not quite the same, but when we visited, for some dumb reason (maybe cause my parents are hikers), instead of taking that tram up to the top of Namsan tower, we walked up the million steps! Yeah, we were gassed after that one haha. So I feel you guys!
I can’t believe we went to Seoul tower over 20 years ago at least time were does it go!!! 💨 Yeh thanks for the tour!!! 🤘🏻 love the suttle funky music!!!
I recently saw this wall on another RUclipsrs page and it looks amazing. This is on my bucket list for travel one day! Amazing views and love that you can stop along the way for breaks and refueling 🙌🏼
Thank you much for showing us the very beautiful Seoul view. I only knew a small part of the wall witch i saw in k-dramas. I love to watch it. It is breathtaking🪴🌻🌺🦋🍂🌿🌾🍃
Now it all makes sense why it is sooo hilly in Seoul while watching our Kdramas - Lol . It definitely keeps folks physically fit. Thanks for sharing - loved hearing about the history of the City Wall. Last trip to Seoul was 10/2019 right before the pandemic. Who knew what awaited for us within the next few months that will be written in the history books for sure. So happy to see Kyuho seeing colors with his new glasses! cheers
I've walked this stretch of the wall before. The views are lovely, but the climb is steep! As I watched, I kept thinking about you folks having to backtrack for the camera/tripod. Double the climb! This is a great video. I hope we have more clear and sunny days like this soon. 🌄
Hahah, yup! It’s double the climbing time for us when stopping and backtracking for our tripods and cameras 😅 The views were so beautiful that day though, so it was totally worth it!
Hiii Sarah! Hiii Kyuho! Congratulations on your sponsorship! Much deserved! You’re IT! I would so pay you both for a tour of Seoul. You’re both so knowledgeable and the places that you share with us are amazing! Kyuho, as soon as I saw you, I thought, ‘nice aviators Kyuho,’ then to find that they’re the special sunglasses, wow! What a perfect time for you to receive them! The changing of the colors of your trees in the fall are stunning! What an absolutely beautiful walk! Thank you both for allowing me to live vicariously through you! Take care! ❤
What a beautiful scenery 😍😍😍 Thank you for sharing this with us. Although I missed the usual uplifting music from your vlogs. This time it felt less happy somehow. But that's just a small thing I noticed. Anyway, amazing vlog!!! 🥰
I’ve walked near East Gate on visits to Seoul and never knew this wall even existed - added to my itinerary for next time! The history of the structure is fascinating -thank you!
When i lived in seoul, thise walks where a great way to "escape" the city. Also it brings back your perspective of where you are in the world as you can see so far and much. Its a lot easier then climing namsan or Bukhansan for sure! Haha totally recommend!
How peaceful and calming this video was so informative and looks like so much fun and enjoyable, the reason I love Korean culture is because it’s well preserved by the country the history and culture is so fascinating 🥹
Thanks for another great video and for showing all the beautiful and super interesting things in and round Seoul. I love to watch your videos…they make me feel happy and relaxed. Another great video! I’ve always wondered why gates are so important and brought up a lot in Korean tv shows like “Kingdom” and “Tales of the Nine Tailed” but now I know thanks to you both! 😊
How beautiful. That’s one of the things that I love about looking at video of Seoul. I love the juxtaposition between the old and new architecture. And most old cities have walls that fortified the city and protected against outside intruders, enemies, etc. Old San Juan, Puerto Rico and (Old) Quebec City, in Canada have similar fortified walls. These were mostly to protect against intruders from the sea. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely video as always - these are honestly one of our Sunday highlights and we can't wait to visit Seoul one day!! What you said about the wall, especially the burial fact, made me thing of Ba Sing Se form ATLA 😅
what a lovely adventure! incredible views of the city! I'd love to visit seoul in the future, definitely will try walking some of those paths. had no idea most of the wall was still up! btw, love that kyuho continues to rediscover the world around him. autumn leaves are such a glorious gift- happy he can enjoy them in a new way now :)
Thank you. I learned so much during this video. I wonder what is the original purpose of the walls? Were they for reasons of defence, feng shui like intent? I really appreciate when you show old parts of Seoul and include their history. Please make more history infused videos.
I stayed a stop away from Dongdaemun on my very first trip to Seoul and I remember stumbling onto the trail right by the gate! I'm not used to historical sites being so accessible like that and thought it was illegal to be on so I booked it hahah (but to be fair it was night so I wouldn't have been able to go far anyways).
I’m jealous of your fall weather in Korea. Its been between 5-10 degrees celcius all week and gloomy in Montreal, if I want to go out for any length of time I need to take out my winter sweaters already 😂 I hope to visit SK one day. I’ve been studying korean for over a year but my progress is slow.
It won’t last, sadly 🥲 This week it’s supposed to cool down quite a bit. But gosh, 5-10 degrees is really cold for early October! 🥶 Korean is one of the most difficult languages for native English speakers to learn, so it’s normal for progress to be slow :)
A very nice video of my almost daily walk. I'm privileged to both live and work right next to the Wall and Naksan Park. "A day of climbing😅.? I guess when you're filming it may take a long time. But in reality, from Dongdaemun over Naksan Park down to Hyehwamun takes less than an hour
You’re so luckily to live in the area! 😃 Haha, filming while walking that portion definitely took a day 😂 All those shots of us walking in the distance, we have to keep running back to get the tripod, get b-roll shots, etc.
Once again, thank you for such a great video. If I ever travel to Seoul, October seems to be a great time to come, and I would love to walk this entire trail throughout my stay. However, I have one question, would it be alright for me, a single middle-aged lady, to walk it on my own, or should I try to find a tour group or something??? Even here in Toronto, I am very aware of where my dog and I walk... not too secluded etc. Anyways, thanks in advance! Take care!
October would be the perfect time to walk this trail :) This trail goes through some major areas of the city, so it’s really not secluded at all. There are always different parks and neighborhoods along the wall, and the path is really well maintained :)
Oh, this is so cool! We walked up to the wall by 흥인지문 when we were visiting last, but had no idea about how far the trail went. 😮 That view is spectacular, and you guys had a much more clear day than we did. Funnily, even my (teenage at the time) son got outpaced by the 할머니 when we were walking around on the footpaths. 😂 Thank you for this awesome video.
This was so lovely. I will have to do this trail when I come back to Seoul. When I was hiking there last May all the ahjummas were passing me on the trail too haha. Also, I was surprised to find a cute cat on the peak in what felt like the middle of nowhere. In Utah where I'm from you would never find a cat in the mountains (except maybe a mtn lion).
They were walking past us too 😂 As for the cats, we saw a few of them, and they were all TNR’d, plump, and really comfortable around people, so they seem really well cared for ☺️
Cool trail! Thanks for sharing this with us. I believe that other walled cities around the world, had similar rules about burial (in Jerusalem, it's definitely the case). Graveyards are often considered unclean places (religiously speaking), they may stink and attract vermin. Also, they are a huge waste of valuable real estate, which is even more scarce in a walled city.
Perfect video… my daughter will visit Korea and she will love this… love this colab ❤
That was beautiful!!!!! Thanks for sharing . Hope you can visit “The Wall” again and show some more of the cool little shops and more of the amazing history of this ancient place
There are lots of areas to explore along the wall, so we’d love to check out another chunk of it 😊
WOW! So beautiful! And I'm glad this time Kyuho can see all the beautiful colors.
It was like seeing that place for the first time 😎
