Your suggestion might help in some cases, world is a global village now, most of the interviews are done online through Skype or in the Zoom, therefore no importance of dressing and no importance of perfume. The second important things that it's a fast era, many CVs submitted online which don't need perfume. Last but not least that if you have the ability, potential, confidence any good firm will hire you without good dressing and perfume.
Your presentation is also necessary. If someone interview you in your bad looks it might creat bad impression. If you are giving interview online, you have to dress up properly. Your presentation and confidence is everything if you don't have any skill.
