Good stuff. Just brought all my distress inks out and have been doing some projects and a small art journal. So much fun to have that creative outlet agin.

I think these tags are very inspirational. Tags are a great way to practice techniques and then I keep them for reference or add them to cards or journalling pages. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

Elaine Thornton thanks so much! So happy you liked them! Have a lovely weekend :)
Very beautiful effects. Have you thought about blotting with another tag or piece of card stock instead of a paper towel to make two at once?
Hi Rose! Yes, you can do that and you'll have a nice background for another tag. Have a lovely evening! Thanks for watching!!
Beautiful!!! You make it look so easy :)
talisman006 thanks very much!! 😘😘it's easy, if you want to try, just watch the video few times or try it and pause the video when you need it while you're doing it 😉. Ask any questions you have! Have a lovely weekend!!
Wow! I love these tags so much! I looked on your Etsy page but it doesn't say what material your stencils are made out of? Great job and thanks for the video!
Hi! Thanks for watching! the material of the stencils is mylar (robust plastic, I can't tell you the thickness exactly, but it is on the thicker side, it's not flimsy, it allows 3D effect when you apply texture paste through them). Does this answer your question? Let me know if you have more questions. I can send you a picture of them from the side if you want. Have a nice weekend!
@@scrapcosy No that helps, I was just curious of what they were made of ^_^ thanks so much.
I REALLY like these! I will be ordering some of these products 😁. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much Jena! They are fun to make! :)
I love it.
Les Créa'tures de Bébé Peteytas thanks!!😊
I like them
Thanks!
found your video today and love it so much! Such beautiful work!! May I ask what are those pieces that the rubber stamps are stuck to?
Hi! Do you mean the acrylic blocks? They are clear plastic pieces to which we can stick this sort of stamps temporarily, while we use them. You may have seen rubber stamps permanently mounted in a wood piece, well, these other stamps I'm using are "cling" ones, which means they can be attached temporarily there (in the acrylic block) for you to stamp them and when you are done, you pull them and store them back flat (attached in an index sheet for example) and they will occupy less space than a wood stamp. Does that make sense? Here is a video I found while typing "different types of stamps" in youtube, I have just fast forwarded it (not seen it) but I think it will help resolving the main doubts: ruclips.net/video/pyHxRYsqfo4/видео.html
@@scrapcosy thank you very much!!!
Very nice. Which kids of foam are you using?
Hi, I'm using cut n dry foam, you can find it here, for example
Amazon UK link: amzn.to/2L3btMf
Amazon US link: amzn.to/2Eiz7nJ
(Note: these are affiliated links, if you happened to buy in Amazon anything using them, you may contribute to my channel, Amazon may pay me a little bit for driving customers to them. Just so you know)
Have a nice day!
Oh, and in the description there is an additional link, to PaperArtsy shop, they also sell this foam.
Awesome ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️love it
Thanks!
Muy bello...!! que es ese producto en polvo que pigmentan?
Mariana Alb muchas gracias! Son los Infusions de PaperArtsy. Abre la descripción del vídeo y allí puedes ver todos los productos y colores que he usado en cada tag. Que tengas muy buen día!! :)
Fabulous tutorial thanks for sharing!
Can you please tell what mat are you working on?
Thanks Mary! This is the mat I used, by paperartsy. Don't mind the colour in the picture, the mat they sell is not this one, it is white as in my video, the picture on their shop is old and they haven't replaced it, it still shows a brown mat, but they only sell white now: shop.paperartsy.co.uk/craft-mat---white-651-p.asp
I love these tags , You have done some amazing work with these inks and stencils .. I'm a new subbie :)) Thanks for sharing .
Thanks for watching and for subscribing!! I'm really happy you liked what I did! 😘😘
thank you for the video, I am new to this and you have inspired me. I attempted to go to the etsy shop but it says its closed for now. Do you know if there are substitute dry ink infusions here in the US?
Hi, you don't need a substitute, you can get Infusions in the US from many stores. Here are 2 shops that carry them (as well as my stamps and stencils), One bottle of infusions will last you years, it's a great investment:
www.franticstamper.com/search?query=infusions
topflightstamps.com/search?q=infusions
Have fun!
Raquel
Verrrrrry beautiful 👌💓
Thanks!! :)
What is the matt on your desk...you can wipe away colors you have stamped and all residue..it appears some kind of white board(slick or shiney) I am talking about your work surface. Thank you
Hi Pam! It's a craft matt by PaperArtsy, see the link. Even if the picture below shows a brown one, it is white. I need to tell them to update the picture, it's very misleading but I can tell you that they only sell it in white, no more browns:
shop.paperartsy.co.uk/craft-mat---white-651-p.asp
I love them all but I love the shroom tag the most 😊 can I ask what type of craft mat you're using? It looks fantastic for all these techniques xx
Sharon Walker I missed your comment, sorry about that. It's a craft mat by PaperArtsy. If you go to their shop, it will be there. Just click on any of the links in the description and it will lead you to their page. I'll try to add it later in the video description. Thanks for watching!! :)
Prachtig! Gorgeous!
Thanks so much Anneke!😊
What stencils are you using? You’ve inspired me to try these tags. Thank you.
Hi, I've used my stencils available at my Etsy shop and at other shops carrying paperartsy supplies. There should be a link in the description of the video. My shop will be open on Sunday and you can have a proper look at them if you want. Have a lovely day!!😘😘
👍
:)
Loved them. I subscribed 😊
Thanks so much for watching and for subscribing! I'm really happy you liked these :)
These are beautiful, where do you get the tags from that you use?
HellyLou Hi! Thanks for your comment! These are Manila tags. You can get them at PaperArtsy shop for instance. I believe these are from Ranger. Not sure which size they are, you get size 6, size 8, etc. I'll look for the link later and post another comment with it. Thanks!
Hi, I found the link to the tags: shop.paperartsy.co.uk/manila-tags-size-8-6-14-x-3-18-3151-p.asp
The tags used were also in the description box of the video, have a look and see if you need more details on other supplies used. Regards!
You can also get them at a lot of office supply stores.
❤️❤️❤️
:)
Superb tags :)
Thanks so much!! :)
Can somebody please tell me WHAT DO YOU USE TAGS FOR???
I get greeting cards, but what are tags for?
Hi, you can use a tag to hang it from the ribbon that wraps up a present. Instead of giving a greeting card, you can write your good wishes at the back of the tag which you also use to decorate that present. I do that on Christmas and presents look nicer with a tag hanging where you can also write the name of the person that should open the gift. I hope that helps! :)
Just use a air dryer if you dont have a heat tool, and bleach and oxydes are differents its oxydizing it not bleaching it
Hi! Thanks for your comment! it's been a while since I recorded the video, so I'm not sure to which part you are writing about. If it's about me using paper towels, we didn't have a power socket in the make and take area and since I'm using the same tools I used at the craft fair, I wanted you to show you the alternative when you don't have electricity around (that was I could use, basically). So with that limitation (no power supply) I couldn't use a heat tool nor a hair drier... If you know about something that is cordless and may work, please let me know! It's something I've been thinking about for ages! I bought one that is powered by a fire lighter but I think that would be a worse alternative and we could cause a fire... can you imagine? Oh gosh! LOL. About bleach, and again, not sure what I said in the video, what I probably meant was that if you apply water to distress inks in general (also happen with oxides) and you dry the drops with a paper towel kind of straightaway, then basically you remove colour, hence acting as a bleach. But I agree, if you let it air dry or apply heat they react differently than regular distress (they oxidise, as Tim says). Have a lovely evening!
scrapcosy ohhh now i understand the paper 🧻! How long does it take to air dry and completely oxidize did you notice ?
My only experience with tags like those is dealing with them in a factory - not exactly inspirational.
What are you using them for?
You can use them for decoration, to add as a gift label writing the name of the receiver, or just to learn the technique
Thanks.
So... You can spend $100+ a year on paper towels, and basically say f*ck the environment, but you can't spend ~$20 on a heat gun? Give me a break...
Hi. In the shows sometimes we don't have plugs, so no electricity, or the plugs are far away from the crafting table and having a cable running in the floor may be dangerous for the people around, they may fall. So for safety reasons we have to use paper towels. It's not ideal and I don't like it. Besides it really limits your options, not being able to dry stuff quickly and having to wait, or not being able to use other mixed media supplies. This video is a step by step of the same make and take I did at the show with the same resources and tools I had then, I wanted to show what I did and that involved paper towels. At home I use heat tool most of the time (especially I would use it for those tags). Thanks for watching!
