Awesome! The Intro to the Book of Mormon, if I remember correctly says that it takes place in the Americas. We only have access to the unsealed portion. What's in the rest of it? I believe people are lead to see parallels in South America because Christ went there too and into Canada as well. But for me, the Pioneers crossed sacred lands where the people from the available sections of the Book of Mormon had been. They needed that extra spiritual strength to do all that was required of them. They were Restoring Priesthood authority from God back to the earth and a book that was another witness of Jesus Christ. Further evidence that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Like when I took an investigator to a portable visitors center on the grounds of a temple when it was being built. The grounds had been dedicated for the building and we were on sacred ground and the Spirit was strong there. Adam ondi ahman caused me to fill with the Spirit and made almost everyone in the car cry as we drove through the grounds entrance gate. So many temples in the USA and being "One Nation Under God" happened for a reason.
