I had a 1971 firebird back in the mid 80s,
    Showroom condition,
It had 7k miles when I bought it for $3,700
Loved that car, wish I'd held on to it.
Also had a 72 olds Cutlass swooped back, another beauty, bought in 1987 with 3,500 miles for $1,500 also mint condition
    Both garaged at all times.
    Also a 74 f350 super camper special, mint condition, 6k for $400.00 in 1995.
Guy got it from his passed uncle, thought the motor was junk, just had a gov on the throttle.
Had many wonderful cars back in the day, wish I still had them all.

I agree..big red flag when first stated upon arrival those nice rallys and tires belonged to someone else..but she would " check" to see if they could be sold at additional cost.
Yeah right..her husband somehow failed to mention that detail when the 10k price was agreed on?
No. Thats shady on her part.
Putting on those junk steelies with bad tires would definitely drop the price at least 2k.
If those wheels didnt go with it, then why are they still on the car at purchasing time?

Hanta Virus Hotel and big chunks of paint flaking no way it's worth $15,000! You would have to want it for yourself to pay $10,000! Even at $10,000 grand with the price of bringing it back to a decent condition the numbers don't work for resell! There are better deals out there! And this is not even considering the hidden rust that is sure to be in a late 60's GM car from that part of the country! It will for sure have rust issues especially with the vinyl top! Also who knows what mechanical issues will present themselves after spending a lot of time off the road! Sitting so much means spend a lot of money! Time to run!

  • @DustinRZR

If she told you $10,000 on the phone then raises it after you drove 4 hours to get there that’s really chitty of her.
If there was this mysterious guy wanting it for $15k, he ain’t standing there with cash in hand and you are.
She just wanted to swindle you out of another $5k more because you came there in nice vehicles and stuff.
I guarantee she will call you back offering it to you for $10k and I would be like $9k because you wasted my time that day and I still have to ship it.
Cool video either way, this is my first time on your channel.

She sold all three to the developer for 30,000. I assume he paid that so he can do business with them in the future and buy the farm so he can build houses on it and make millions.. so it makes sense that he overpaid

      @philipvalerius6512 2 месяца назад +3

He definitely overpaid for all 3 vehicles, but like you said he did it to make millions on housing, Me personally after finding out you had to take the tires off the Firebird I would have dropped the price right then immediately, she was asking 15,000 for that car, she had been lucky if she got 9000 maybe 10,000out of me and the other Pontiac I guess that thing was worth about $3000 if that and the Jeep she should have gave you for free.

@@philipvalerius6512agreed, that price woulda dropped by 2k..another 500 if she expected the buyer to do the work of swapping them out to those junk steelies/ bad tires. If those nice rallys and tires belonged to someone else ,as she claimed, then why are they still on the car and why was that never established beforehand? Why has the owner of those wheels not been contacted to come get them and put the stock steelies back on?

They were being fair and honest and hadn't agreed on a price before he showed up. It doesn't matter if they were asking too much or if they actually had another offer. The only scummy person here is this guy for taking this out of context for views. Couldn't close the deal so he figured he'd get money from RUclips at the expense of this couple's dignity and reputation.
