I miss saturday morning cartoons
Robot Jones was also shown on cartoon cartoon fridays. However, it lost to the grim adventures of Billy and mandy Pilot, but eventually became a show in 2002. Why was sheep in the big city part of the big pick weekend? I mean, that show premiered on November 17th, 2000.
Sheep didn’t win the big pick. CN already greenlit the show prior to Big Pick Weekend. I guess they showed the pilot this summer for storyline and continuity purposes
13:03 it was called "Grim & Evil" "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy" didn't premiere separately until Friday July 13th at 7pm & 10:30pm in 2003
This is called a pilot. Basically it means a short hoping to become a show. And we the people at the time made it into a show by our votes. When it became a show it brought Evil Con Carne with it which premiered August 24, 2001 (Grim & Evil). The shows spilt up on July 13, 2003. It’s very similar to when “Cow & Chicken” and “I am Weasel” was one show before splitting up right before the premiere of Cartoon Cartoon Friday’s

I was a Longhair and Doubledome kid, so this was a devastating weekend for me.
Can you beileve it Even King Kong who's hundreds of meters tall ended up living in isolation Every Day he wakes up yawns and takes a cold shower to prevent catching a cold he uprooted a giant tree stripped it of branches and leaves and turned it into a javelin to throu at the sun But as the tree trunk rapidly shot into the sky it pierced a hole in the sky it was only then that King Kong realized he had been imprisoned by humans He let out a painful cry Years ago humans had built this ecological containment unit to protect King Kong from Godzilla Now that King Kong has grown up it's time to send him back home So he was put on a chain and transported to the depths of the Antarctic on an aircraft carrier On the way when he to hungry King Kong would have some seafood and when thirsty he' d drink seawater But as they passed through a certain area King Kong suddenly became agitated Alfer an examination it turned out they had entered Godzilla's territory He destroyed numerous aircraft with his tail Watching Godzilla's rampant behavior

Meanwhile far on the surface Godzilla seemed to sense something let out a fierce roar and unleashed a beam of light underground causing king Kong old home to collapse The two titans now separated by half the globe were about tô have their long-anticipated showdown king Kong appeared first and Godzilla swung an axe at him leaving him at a disadvantage Godzilla bit King Kong neck wanting tô end the fight but King Kong used a combination of moves to strike his Head fierecely These moves made It seem like King Kong had secretly learned martial arts When Godzilla stood up and attempted to fire his beam again King Kong struck him with a nuclear punch Godzilla was completely enraged and he hurled King Kong out dislocating his arm and depleting the exe's energy With a wicked grin Godzilla charged once more Seeing King Kong on the brink of defeat Godzilla's hesitation shocked everyone instead of delivering a finishing blow he turned and walked away It turned out that his real target his time wasn't King Kong but the Mechagodzilla developed by humans
I'm sorry but those days of good cartoons are gone

I never knew there was a Cartoon Cartoon Weekend. I only knew of the Friday. I wish they'd bring this back in some sort of streaming compacity.
They did a CCW usually right before Labor Day during Cartoon Cartoon Fridays run. Sort of to celebrate the end of Summer
