I gave this nachine. Bought 7 days sgo. It is loud, after crushing the beans, it thuds thuds thuds before it dispenses the coffee. I am so disappointed, it does Ive tried the troublshooting tips but still thuds loudly.
Agreed! was thinking the EXACT same thing after he mentioned how quiet it was. I do not just want to hear about the features, I want to see it in action so I first hand.
Most superautos build drinks this way to let the milk foam and milk form layers with the espresso. Traditionally you are correct - espresso usually is poured into the mug first and then steamed milk is poured on top to create latte art.
@everythingevo: don't forget that Philips doesn't make appliances anymore. Coffe machine get made by a private company in Romania so you will find issues sadly as Philips just checks if it works ok and that's it. Their business is in health for hosipitals for example but still they make bad products. Remember that device that they had to recall for breething? Well that still is ongoing. Philips is not like it used to be sadly. I have also a 4300 but had to replace that thing that is behind the brew group as the coffe would not come out of the nozles but in the drip tray, which is a very common issue on these devices. Coffee would also taste badly that's because (without Philips saying this themselves, you have to go on youtube) there is a piece which you have to unscrew from the brew group which is like a mini filter but nowhere is it mentioned to clean this as the coffee goes trough this filter and gets dirty as the left over coffee stays on this filter. You have to clean this after every like 6 months to get a good coffee taste. So it has some issues, but still a good machine afterall, though, saying that, the coffee grinding sound has become very loud in the 3 years we've owned this machine 😅. But still a good machine, you just have to take care of it.
My 3200 failed shortly after its warranty expired. The customer service rep told me my beans were "oily" and I needed to buy degreasing tablets. The user manual didn't mention either.
@@dandevaney4025 Ah, I don't know of it being mentioned in the manual but thankfully I watched many videos before buying my lattego 4300, so that I know what to do. Things like tablets and descaling I already knew before buying. Weirdly enough, if the manual doesn't mention it, why does Philips have many youtube videos? Like I stated in my above comment: these machines are not made by Philips but in a Romanian factory which is owned by a private company who has a contract with Philips. Philips doesn't make appliances anymore but only focusses on healthcare.
Is it possible to brew both decaf and caffeinated coffees? Like if the whole beans are caffeinated, can the user make a regular cup, then the next user make a decaf? Looking for something convenient for all our needs. Thx
Hello! This machine does have a pass through for pre-ground coffee! You can simply use the bypass doser with ground decaf, it just won't go through the grinder.
Actually you can order hot milk all you need to do is just setting the coffee on dust mode while making cappucino or latte. If there is no ground coffee in it ,it gives just hot and steamed milk🎉
Which is best, the Philips 3300 or the Delonghi Magnifica EVO?
I have this machine and the taste is bitter and not good! Any tips?
for make hot chocolat take mode prégrind without add coffee and stop after milk......simple
You talk about its features and mention its quiet, why not show the entire process letting us hear its level of noise?

@@avong003 It is quieter than its predecessor (3200 LatteGo)
I have one and it's VERY loud lol Not quite at all
I have one so loude I thought it is breaking
Why does the milk pour inside the cup first and the espresso second?
I thought with a latte that the milk is supposed to go on top of the espresso.

How is this compared to the Ninja Espresso Luxe
Great info thanks!
My 4300 Lattego has an option to just make hot milk. Odd that this newer model doesn't have it.

You need to use decaffeinated beans

I am deciding between the 3300 and the Delonghi Magnifica Evo. I am a first timer and like automatic and quiet. Any suggestions?
What did you choose? I am also stuck with this

hi my budget is 400 dollars, which bean to coffee machine would you recommend? thank you.
For this budget you can't go wrong with a Philips Carina!
