Hey! Looking Bougie with the Boogie, I have to say my wife and I love not only your educational aspect but you have some killer style man! Now the Boogie is a machine, from Blink 182 to Nirvana's Kurt Cobain this Amp has been in the spotlight for years. Now owned by Gibson; what more could you want from that price!🎉
@@guitar_georgedo you think the Crunch on channel one can clean up well with volume? Like could you go edge of breakup to medium gain with volume, you think?
you can do edge of breakup on the crunch channel, just gotta put the gain really low.I think it sounds best with the gain turned up a bit more though,. Kinda sounds like a Marshall@@danielallen2510
The Crunch setting is fun to play with. Its basically a dirty channel on the clean side. Sometimes its fun to use the mid boost and use that as my main dirty sound. I haven't experimented enough with just the Clean mode, (because Fat sounds better to me) and not very much with the Xtreme setting either.
The Xtreme mode is surprisingly tame if you turn the gain down! All settings really have tons of range which I was trying to demonstrate here. I love this little amp!
@@guitar_george Yes, I am going to try it with much different settings. I also don't use as big of a "V" as most metal musicians, but I do use it because I love the mid boost on the "clean" channel. It looks like you use a shallow V as well. The GEQ is very powerful. I have the combo, which is still really small, so I am thinking about getting a cabinet for it. It's such a small combo you can put it on top of a cabinet probably. Certainly no problem right next to it.
@guitar_george Awesome, I didn't know about the EQ. What about switching between the three voices or modes on the channels? Are you stuck having to use a hand to toggle the switches?
Yo I like your steeze on the strings bro, you ever thought about doing a beginner series or playlist on your channel for us nubs at playing? Would love to learn from some1 like you my g

I dig it. Cause I Boogie but I’m not a metal guy. Boogies have killer cleans too
Super underrated cleans!
Absolutely man. Killer video. I’ll subscribe! Dig the chops too.

Does the footswitch allow to switch between modes as well as channels?
Yes it does. You can change the channel and turn the EQ on and off with the foot switch

Oh sorry, I misread your comment. You can only switch between channels, not modes. 😳
@@guitar_george That's very unfortunate for such a versatile set of tones.
