Tour de force from Limerick in second half with a Maradona style goal from Kyle Hayes in the middle of it to cap it off and as usual a tour de force from Tommy here. Cud listen to him all day. Never a word wasted.
Tommy is always fair and tells it like it is, you never hear Tommy say a lad should have been sent off because for ten years he wasn't shy about handing out a few clips himself lol. Great player and pundit. It was as the cliche says a game of two halves and both teams showed incredible class in intense heat, not much more than a Puck of a ball between the teams that are left its still wide open.
Not much of a puck of a ball ? What games having you been watching , Limerick are clearly miles ahead of the rest ..they are so odds on with the bookies they can’t really be backed …
@@jog9395 exactly the same odds as 2019 when Kilkenny beat us, we were unbeatable then too, and I've been watching the games closely, draw with tipp in the league, loss to Galway loss to Waterford, struggled against Cork up to the last 10 mins, were nowhere to be seen in the first half against tipp albeit a fantastic second half performance.
@@jamescoughlan8193 Limerick are not unbeatable, nobody is, but they are very talented and in with a good chance. As for the Kilkenny match the year before last, they started slow but quite possibly would have drove on and got over the line had they not been denied the clear 45 at the end. They had the fitness and momentum to push on, Kilkenny looked out on their feet at that stage. Certainly it would have been a closer final that year had Kilkenny not had that luck at the end. Personally I'd like to see this Limerick team get the two in the row. Given how they've performed over the last three or four years I think they deserve it. Would be nice to see another team that isn't Kilkenny/Tipp/Cork get some fruits for their efforts (not that I don't admire those counties)
Limerick had to pull out their best ever performance to beat Tipp so that's saying something....Will be hard to peak again...Tipp not gone by a long shot yet and Sheedy is right in saying that Tipp will have a say yet in this championship
I think Barretts reputation is one thing. Second thing is lately some refs decisions have ruined games. It also would have ruined a good game for the neutral.. The ref had a good game in fairness..
Tommy is such a massive ambassador for the game, love he's insights on the game. Looking forward to more analysis over the summer! :)

As a tipp man I have huge respect for Tommy Walsh, great honest analyst
Tommy is the best analyst in the game, straightforward and no Bs.
He should be analysing at a higher level, no disrespect to Otb.
Agreed. Very fair. And I'm a Tipp man
He's too honest for the big boys. IMO.
He dont care about the prestige of the Sunday game
Great analysis as ever by the great tommy walsh.
Love listening to tommy, a great hurling man.
Could listen to Tommy all day.

Time for VAR
Hayes wouldn't have got past the 45 if Tommy was playing,,fact!
🤣
😂
If he didnt see it tommy why did he give a yellow ? The referees seem to be allergic to giving limerick red cards
