Dear Hidden Orchestra, thanks for giving those who were not yet born for the late '60s a taste of the "psychedelic happenings" that we old timers were lucky to experience.
As a massive fan of Amon Tobin, Cinematic Orchestra, Box Cutter, Xploding Plastix, Jaga Jazzist etc, I am BAFFLED, I have only discovered Hidden Orchestra now. I’m a DISGRACE!!
thank you soo much for this upload. I love hidden orchestra. they're with me at work, while walkin, while I'm cooking, at the beach - everywhere I go I have them with me. thanks from brasil!
Feelings mutual @MarianaCorreia. I usually play their music when I make coffee, make art/design, in the studio/over mountain tops...the list goes on :)
In many ways this feels like music expressed in one of it's truest forms. It paints pictures, it inspires introspection, and movement, stillness and peace of mind.
Seen them twice, both times was breath taking. I assume even when veiwed by true musicians, they are left confused as to how they construct their arrangements. Truly powerful music!!
What a treat! Thanks so much for uploading this to RUclips. Next time Hidden Orchestra is on tour, please consider visiting Korea (e.g. at the Seoul Jazz Festival).
I remember seeing them at the Jazz Bar in Edinburgh whilst they were still known at the Joe Acheson Quartet. They were always destined for something great me thinks.
I play the drums and I know how difficult it is to orchestrate two drummers who are actually playing two drumsets simultaneously, without sounding too busy, too loud, out of pocket. And the toughest thing: not getting in the way of the other instruments.

Amazingly not alone:)
Love these guys. TT is my favourite label. I have around 15-20 of their albums, including 2 of HA : Archipelago and Night Walks
Are they the guys who made the music for Amanita design (Creaks)?
How genius are they. Damn. I wonder if the experiencing of seeing them live could top Portico Quartet....

Many many thanks for this beautiful food of soul. Specially few hours before the morning.
