Horimiya really is the kind of show that gives the side characters a love triangle more engaging than the average romances main character love triangle.
something about sengoku and remi. its actually the reverse.
the strong one is remi. she is very good and pushing buttons and the reverse.
she makes sengoku feel strong. despite remi being very capable of caring for herself.
she is good at flattering and making other feel flattered.

Ah yes the heavy rain chapter, the one that reeeeeeally caught me off guard. Funny thing is when I'm reading that chapter it was also raining, also back then I'm into a long distance relationship, so the chapter gave me mix in feelings.

Horimiya has some of the most in depth and interesting characters I’ve ever seen and it is adorable
@Alicia I am pretty sure these are already recorded, but would you consider using subs when you watch the dub versions. I know you have to mute the audio every now and then, I can't speak for anyone else but I get a little lost in what's happening in the show in those moments.
Jesus, i get illogicaly anoyed at people whom does not realise there is post ctedit scene episode 1, 7 and 12. Illogicaly because unless they are aware they are here it's logical to miss them so I don't want to blame them, but it still enrage me because they are so important for the story, especially episode 7 and 12.

Its so weird hearing how the dub words certain lines, they feel kinda...Off? like yes the they use a synonym for the meaning of the words themselves, but the context and intent seem off and misrepresent the characters a little

There is an after credits scene that confirms that they did it. Also from the manga the little brother overheard them doing it and that is why he was depressed at the end.
Fun fact: Sota could hear them while they were smashin and that's what lead to the "she's my sister" consversation.
This was probably the first romance anime I ever watched where the main leads actually reach next base, not just hand holding, not just kissing but they actually go there

I think it is a bit sad, that you say about prez that it is a shit taste wanting to feel helpfull and protecting and for that liking someone, who makes him feel like that, and in the next saying hori is a win charakter, but hori is the reason for prez beeing like that. Of cause we can talk about gender roles and stuff, that those are shit, but hori made him feel weak in middle school, wich is the reason for him not wanting to be that weak anymore and wanting to be strong for the person he likes. It is a compley and pretty normal for a highschool boy. Also there are more resaons, its just that part, which made him feel wanted and feels for him at the moment important about the relationshsip. Love can't be explained and if you have to explain it, you say why it feels good.
She does seem to be very biased whenever Remi is involved.
@@cinnay99 yeah unfortunaly, of cause the anime cut it shorter than the manga, but she did nothing so bad, one mistake and asking about miyamura was not even a mistake, but she tried to take her feelings in consideration.

Personally the remi hate is wild while I agree she’s not the best character and could have used better traits I think that in a show like Horimiya she fits well because not every character is gonna be strong, smart I do agree her character plays dumb way to much but again it could just be exaggeration
Sometimes it’s the small things that people do that occasionally affect us more than grand gestures, so while yeah the opening window thing seems insignificant it could be something that is appreciated by the characters
It's a first impression issue. She was introduced as incompetent, and then they show her trying to take Miyamura while making it unclear that it was a joke because we don't know how her character is
