I got into arab fragrances because of you! I added ana abiyedh white and red, ansaam gold, nebras, khamara, ajwad*, and qaed al fursan to my collection this year after watching your videos...and thats only the lattafa line! 🤭 i added many more from other houses. I always look forward to your reviews because i trust your nose. You truly are gifted describing the scent profile! 💕

Even more, I thank you for trying to save us the coin charged for niche and designer fragrances that are just not worth it, once you discover Lattafa etc. what an eye opener for me this was and I have learnered so much from your channel. My Lataffa perfumes I'd definitely buy again are from the Maison Alhambra and would be Infini Rose and Delilah. Infini Rose is a clone of Initio Atomic Rose and Delilah is a clone of Delina. Saying that though, I bought a back up bottle of Shalina by Fragrance World instead of Delilah so I'd be happy enough with either of them. They're pretty much the same thing, it's just that Delilah needed time to macerate. I really wanted Ansaam Gold but I've got a few generic clones of Love Don't Be Shy so I'm not gonna bother for now. Next Lataffa I'll get will probably be Khamra for the winter months. I layered an Angel's Share sample over MFK Grand Soir the other night and it was amazing so I can't wait to wear things like that when the summer is over.

Awesome list. I have the Ansam Gold body spray and will be purchasing the perfume for myself some time in the future. Yes to Ser Al Malika...again, I say it's a Casablanca dupe/clone. If you spray them both on your arm, you won't be able to tell them apart! I also want to get Mohra Silky Rose and Khamrah. I have taken a break from buying for now until the holidays, seriously...thinking of starting my own channel to fill my time and keep me from purchasing...i have LOTS to review!

    *Lattafa fragrances I would repurchase*:
    Pride Nebras
    Pride Ansaam Gold
    Khamrah
    Velvet Rose
    Raghba 30ml*
And maybe Fakhar Women and Al Arabia Royal Blends.
NB* Raghba was a hit at first, but after a year of maceration the woody notes have changed. Stronger and very dry, it's now - on my skin, those synthetic 'Oud's rarely work for me, especially the dry cedar/leather/spice concoctions stink - overwhelming the lovely vanilla, spices and previous warm creaminess of the wood😢. You also don't need a lot of Raghba anyway, not even I do with my super dry perfume eating skin. So I would repurchase, but a small 30ml, or even a pocketspray if I could.
Actually, I wish those pocketsprays would be generally used by the Middle Eastern brands! So many fragrances that I like, but only for certain weather, or moods. For example my Ard Al Zaafaran Shams Al Emarat Khususi. Lovely perfume, but still rarely reach for it. Which is okay: I have a 20ml pocketspray!
NB2. I still have a few Lattafa fragrances on my wish & test list though, so my list might change:
Sondos, Shahd, Shalimar Musk Al Poudree, Nasheet, Qaed Al Fursan white, and both the Mohra's.
Oh, and I haven't opened Emaan yet. As a jasmine/orangeblossom lover it might be included one day. (I loooaaaathe Sakeena! It brought home that passionfruit notes should NOT be on my skin. I smell like vomit when wearing Sakeena!! If there's anyone in The Netherlands, or maybe Belgium/ Germany etc who wants to buy mine... only 2 sprays used, kept in dark closet, gorgeous original box, I'll have to check if I even still have the packaging available).
While I truly appreciate Afaq and Awaan, scent wise and quality wise, I'm not sure if I will repurchase them one day. Maybe if a small 10-20-30ml becomes available one day.

    • @user-wf7kq3xk2u
      @user-wf7kq3xk2u 9 месяцев назад +1

I so agree with you with pocketspray bottles. I would buy mostly those, since i doubt i´ll manage to finish many of my perfumes on this life time. Here most of my work mates, family and friends don´t like strong scents, so i have to spray really sparingly. Unless i´m all on my own for the weekend. So, 2-5 sprays max, 100 ml bottle will last me really long time.

    • @misssunnydee
      @misssunnydee 9 месяцев назад +1

@@user-wf7kq3xk2u I guess that's the advantage of not having to go to an office, or being single for ages. Also, I have non projecting- perfume eating skin 🙃. It's only fragrances like Ameer Al Oudh Intense, Raghba (lol, 5 extra weeks of maceration and Raghba is back to being delicious!), or Club de Nuit Intense Woman that probably still grace my vanity in the exact same bottle when I'm 80🤣🙈.
I hear the word "beastmode" so often and am almost always disappointed.
Because I need to spray at least 15 times, often more, in order to get an intimate projection AND I therefore reapply or layer AND use another fragrance at night or for bed, I've actually managed to finish almost two hands full of 80-100ml bottles in the last 9 months. I also made a 50% or quarter dent in 50 or more other perfumes. But of course those are the ones I really like. My collection - I looked at my Xcel sheet yesterday - is now 186 fragrances rich, and I'm about to declutter 25-30 of those and finish but never rebuy about the same amount. But there are so many fragrances I would like to have (mostly gourmand, Oriental/Ambery vanilla or elegant white florals) that I'm sure I'll be back to 180 soon: those pocketsprays are so so needed.
Also: they're usually just 4 bucks. Can you imagine the giant collection you can build from those, even if you don't have a lot of money? 😅🤓😋 No more feeling guilty, or being happy you get to finish them, try out the newest stuff... And how often you could gift someone a fragrance without breaking the bank?
F.e. Every Friday we have a small market in my neighbourhood. I'm kind of noticeable because 1. My style is 50s rockabilly in summer and 50s elegant New Look in winter, and 2. I'm in a wheelchair. So, most people know me, and I know all the market stall workers by name. The amount of times any one of them compliment me about a perfume I'm wearing... A LOT. I mean, wouldn't it be awesome if you could bring such a hard working person a pocketspray of their liking for xmas or their bday, or just because they (in my case) always help me pack the bag on the back of my chair...? Or you could give your friend who needs a pick me up a Khamrah (or similar) pocketspray so she gets a scent hug!
Okay, long story short: they might not be pretty, but the Arab perfume houses need to all start making pocketsprays. Or otherwise offer 30ml bottles or those cute babies Cee managed to acquire! That would be superb for many a reason.
Honestly, I actually think it'll lead to more sales for them as there are plenty people who like to collect miniatures or who prefer to also have a travel spray of their favourites. Not to mention the perfume lovers who will blind buy more because they'll have some type of sample in those mini's instead of having to blind buy the 100ml normally - which they rarely do. Being able to test with the pocketsprays or mini'll lead to buying the big bottles after all, if they like the scent. Reviewers like Cecilia could also then just buy the mini for the review and review every new thing she's interested in, instead of what she thinks "works best" because then she's saving money...🤷‍♀️.
Darn it, I'm a marketing genius!😏🤣 Hmm, maybe I should create a petition that all Middle Eastern perfume lovers can sign and then send it to the big brands! 😉

I have that one too. Like it and am surprised it isn't really RUclips'd about. Then again... maybe better, because all the prices have tripled of late.
Though have to say that it is a super shame it just doesn't performs in colder days. It would be a great year-round perfume, but I can only use it in spring/summer.
However, some days this fragrance becomes sickeningly sweet on me. Perhaps because of the fact our (very short) summers - when they ARE truly summery - are always hot and super humid. That brings out extra sweetness and you lose the pineapple entirely. Then it makes me nauseous. But... skin chemistry + climate can be different for anyone.
But on regular days I think it's a very special fragrance.
Btw, I've noticed that Lattafa Pride Shaheen Gold is 95% equal! I bought a decant when the fragrance was just released and it was a fresh figgy herbal perfume. Nice, but way too soft.
I guess I didn't realise the bottle the decant came from hadn't macerated yet, because I tried it out 2mths ago again on a whim and *BAM*!
Not only was it suddenly above average projection and decent longevity, but I kept thinking "I have this already!".
Put them (Royal Blends and Shaheen Gold) side by side and wow: you basically only miss the cinnamon.
Knowing that the Prides have ridiculous prices in my country and I paid €18 for Royal Blends (and I prefer it with cinnamon) I definitely know which one to go for 😂.

The scent is too warm for the summer, but I can't wait for the cooler months cause I loved the smell of it.

Hi Cee, do you prefer original Yara or Mohra silly.rose? It seems they both have a creamy clean vibe. Thankyou 😊

Reviewing, right now, these older frags are going dirt cheap. Cee, I never bought 24k 99.99. I'm afraid of that Lattafa leather note. Can you tell me how strong the leather is? Is it a gentle, smooth note? Leather I love would be, i.e., Imperial Arabia, and leather I can't wear is Abiyedh leather or Oud Mood Elixir. Please let me know how the leather represents in 24k Gold. Thank you 😊

Glad you like them! Sakeena is definitely fruitier and the two don’t smell the same at all.
