My input RE Jazzab Gold & Club de Nuit: 1. Jazzab Gold by Ard Al Zaafaran is one of my all time faves on the Arab Market - though last week I was informed AaZ has discontinued the fragrance. I hope that's incorrect info! - I recommend it to everyone! Yes, it is indeed blended to perfection and I often call it the yellow fruity-woodier version of Modest Deux Pour Femme. But both the projection & the lasting power is one of the worst in my personal experience. I'm on my 3rd bottle and looking for an affordable backup again, so my experience is pretty good ;). While it can be worn yearround, the performance in cooler weather becomes close to bodymist quality the lower the temp. Especially if you have dry skin. I do know it performs much better in warmer weather, becoming creamier then too, so perhaps Cee's somewhat tropical climate is of influence. Just so you know... It has no incense, and the rose is a mere topnote in the pyramid (on my skin it barely thrives) but it does have pink blossoms and a woody accord with double oud as well. Thàt can give smokiness on some - it does at times on me -, which eventually resolves in the dry down, so I understand why Cee gets an incense idea. When interested in the full pyramid - and my own review (I adapted it January '23, but it is from end '21 or early '22, based on my summer and early autumn experience - meaning I need to edit some more to mention the temperature influences on sillage/projection) - check out Parfumo: www.parfumo.com/Perfumes/Ard_Al_Zaafaran/jazzab I also fully support Club de Nuit Intense. Fair warning: let it sit for for quite a while. The fragrance is very popular and Armaf pomps out a lot of juice, foregoing any maceration. As a result you might initially get spices and oud, overpowering softer notes. That's what I got: a very masculine juice, nutmeg-caraway-pepper heavy and a strong Oud. Rose (particularly Rose geranium is weak) always needs help in such a concoction and while there are plenty aromachemicals doing just that: maceration is needed for them to work. Vanilla & Amber also need time to shine. My bottle needed a couple of months before I got this lovely sensual spicy rose with a smoky oud embraced by a softer ambery vanilla. I often layer it with a fresher rose to amp up the floweriness, because it still needs it - on my skin (every extra month it does get a bit sweeter and more floral though). Of course your skin chemistry will decide what you get, but CDNIW - while gorgeous - isn't for the faint at heart. Macerated or not. It is worth every dime though, because SPL is amazing! I've not posted my review yet, but the above gives an idea.
Hey Cee! I think that you would like Rave Now Rouge or Red by Lattafa. It has a rose/suede profile with a little fruit at the bottom. Definitely unisex. If you get a chance to smell it, please do! It's in a red lattice bottle. Have a beautiful day!

Mochawood is one of my favourites, try it in the colder months, you will love it!!! I haven't finished my first bottle but I have a back up already 😅 "Never to be caught unawares". Although, for me, it lasts days on my cloth but say about 7-8hours on skin.
Hello cee I received my mocha wood today. It smells good and it smells like the perfume version of my Swiss Arabian private oud oil lol But more watered down. I don’t smell coffee all I get is slight woody notes with a lil bit sweet note on dry down. It’s not as intense maybe it needs time to macerate. I do notice at times when I get a weak perfume when I first spray it, after a week the smell starts to develop more.

I liked Shaghaf oud but it took way too long to get to the smooth praline, vanilla dry down for me. I would only smell that the following day after spraying it on my clothes 😭
You need to get your hands on qessa imperial valley and Hudson valley. It's so so strong one spray will last the whole day imperial valley is pure oud.
@CeeChronicles-TalkingScents Have you reviewed more from North Stag? I've heard that their "IX" is an amazingly smooth quality dupe of Grand Soir. Apparently it is their luxe line, but with mostly masculine leaning fragrances (though I can see myself wear that Quatorze one easily. Boozy+honey? Sign me up! I also own Kismet Angel, Khamrah and Khadlaj La Fede Intoxicate after all).

I must admit I HATED the weird stink of Nasheet for over a month! I am a 100% blind buy purchaser. I have yet to buy a fragrance that I have at the very least only liked. Nasheet had me feeling down because I just couldn’t get past the stench. I would spray it every week trying to understand the hype. So I smelled it recently and oh my how times have changed. It is a sweet citrus can’t quite put my finger on the exact notes but I love it 16:52 fragrance. It has no smell relationship to what I sniffed for a month or so!
