Wow I was on the fence between the Cruz and the Nuna and whether to get the pipa or this car seat but this was the car seat I was considering with the Cruz and simply because of the amazing base on this car seat I am sold! Kudos to maxi cosi and it’s made my decision on the cruz easier too!
This seat is great. It also looks cute with the pink ! I think they are all pretty safe these days, but this one is easy to use and fits in both my truck and sedan.
My wife and I just got this car seat, we agree that it is innovative and definitely raising the bar in ease of use! we do have a concern though and have talked with Maxi Cosi even and still on the fence as safety is our biggest priority. I have yet to find crash reviews. Our concern is the inner shell moves quite excessively in addition to the outer shell moving in the base. We understand thoroughly how the there needs to be movement to help protect the baby and their internal organs. our concern is because its the only brand/model like this that it does not have enough testing in the movement of the inner shell, just seems excessive in regards to the baby potentially jostling around the entire trip. would love to get your input on the matter since you seem to take great pride in reviewing products.
CYBEX CLOUD T Vs. MAXI COSI CORAL 360? any thoughts feedback on which might be best for a Newborn? We love both for many reasons, so we can't seem to make up our minds. The Cloud T seems more comfy and softer, it has the reclining option, it goes up to 24 months of use, besides being super safe, it also has such a fancy & pretty look, its not bulky at all, it seems smaller and lighter than many others. The MAXI COSI CORAL 360 however, has the magical 1.7kg detachable inside part which no other carrier has, and seems like a game changer for a fast and easy use, it doesn't feel as comfy or soft as the Cloud T though, also the looks and design are more standard/basic compared with all the attention to detail of the Cloud T, and its only recommended to use for 12 months, so we would really be getting this one only because of its amazing one-of-a-kind feature of detaching the inside part and carry it on the shoulder for short errands or easy in-and-out access from the car without the need of a stroller. Any comments from anyone that has used them would be super helpful! Thanks!
Could you do maxi cosy stroller reviews please ? Like the Lila duo vs the pupa baby vista / other single to double strollers ? They have a different types of strollers available too 😁
YES!! Thank you!! Could not find any info here in the US. :) This would have been AMAZING for our preemie back in the fall-she’s a miraculously chonky 9 month-old now, and we are looking into convertibles. 😉 Also, you are so right about Maxi Cosi-before I moved here from France, I thought infant carriers *were* called “maxi cosis”! 😂
This should have came out, I got the maxi cosi mico something and I love how I can raise the base for my son to see me and be closer to the driver seat while rear facing. But I ended up with a pinched nerve in my neck as well as a bulging disk... and my newborn! He’s 20 pounds now so I’m looking for a new car seat
Does this fit the Joolz Aer car seat adapter? Joolz lists MC Coral 360 and plain ol’ Coral but not the Coral XP specifically. Wondering if it’ll work in my stroller. Still waiting on Joolz to get back to me on it so wondering if you guys know since you’re awesome.
How come they dont bring the britax safe and sound from Australia? I had to order one from Australia. And fell in love. But thing is no baby yet sadly. Just have a reborn.
What do you do about the fact that when installed and tightened all the way the head of of the base still moves back and forth way to far, easily 4+” back and forth (the base doesn’t move at all). Also, the part that you can take out and put over your shoulder, when installed in the car seat there is nothing from stopping that piece from moving up and down, so if for some unforeseen reason you had to make a sudden stop that piece will bounce up and down, the baby is strapped it to the piece but if this piece still moves around freely it defeats the purpose
Hi Jeff, I would recommend making an appointment with a local Child Passenger Safety Technician who will be able to help you troubleshoot and resolve any issues you are having installing your car seat! You can find a CPST here: portalskcms.cyzap.net/dzapps/dbzap.bin/apps/assess/webmembers/secure/manage?webid=SKCMS&pToolCode=CERT-SEARCH&pAdd=Yes
What would you recommend, a nuna pipa or maxi cosi coral? Does this cardeat fit on any stroller such as the GRACO EXTENDED TO FIT2 or uppa baby minu, or judy coul, or EVEN FLO PIVOT XPAND or MOCKING BIRD
Are there any double strollers besides the maxi cosi brand that have compatible adapters to the coral xp? I want the coral xp and need a double stroller for my toddler and infant, having trouble finding a double stroller to accommodate coral xp car seat
Hi Tracey! Unfortunately, because we are a US retailer we are only familiar with US models which do differ significantly from those sold internationally. I am afraid I can not offer any relevant information. Good luck in your search 😊
Did you ever get a chance to test this out on other maxi cosi stroller adapters? Like if my stroller has the mico xp adapter available, will it work for this coral? I’m having a hard time finding info on it, I’m assuming cause it’s still semi new
Thank you for the video. I am pregnant and I search for short videos, that explain all important issues. This video ist waaaay to long. Please make those kind of videos more precise.
With the alarming rate of car seats installed and used incorrectly. This product makes me a bit fearful. Also "container baby" screams at me. A lot of parents also don't realize car seats aren't a safe sleep space. I could see it really useful for the city parent, but I also see the downside to it.
I was extremely shocked to see your channel doing a review of a Maxi-cosi product. I think the idea is innovative but I see many safety risks with the product and for only a slight 1-2 lb difference between the inner shell and a pipa lite, I think the Nuna pipa makes much more sense .
I agree that the weight is similar to the Nuna Pipa Lite, but I think the main differentiator of this product is in the way you carry it around like a basket. This is car seat has passed the US safety tests - where do you see the risks? Eli
Magic Beans Videos I see many risks. Most of user error. For example if when you put the soft shell in and it doesn’t click all the way in and is therefore just floating there it would in a God forbid accident fling out of the hard safe shell. I can also see parents leaving the baby in this on the floor and stepping away and then the child (some kids stay in infant seats for a while) moving making the soft carrier flip since it is so light. What is the strap breaks and the child falls? What if you have it slung in your shoulder and you trip, there’s not much protecting the child unlike the hard shell seats would . I see many things that make me not feel secure putting an infant inside the “Soft shell design”.
@@asprinkleofcake914 That's what I tought..that's why I was wondering why the above commenter was basically insinuating that he shouldn't review their products at all.

Which maxi cozi strollers is this carseat compatible with?
hi there,
what is the difference between a maxi cosi coral and a maxi cosi coral XP
Can you please review the Maxi Cosi Marble ❤️

do you have the maxi cosi lila stroller?
Can I use this with the bugaboo bee 6?
I would love to know if this carseat can be used on babyzen yoyo?
Just bought one and it seems like the European version DOES NOT HAVE THE SHOULDER CARRY STRAP nor an option to attach it.
Could you do maxi cosy stroller reviews please ? Like the Lila duo vs the pupa baby vista / other single to double strollers ?
They have a different types of strollers available too 😁
It's compatible with most of the strollers or only maxi cosi strollers?
Is it compatible with yoyo2 stroller ?
Hi Eli, would you please make a review for cybex eezy s twist 2 stroller. Thank you

Eli
Does this work with the stroller?
Does this click into other maxi cosi car seat bases? Looking to replace my mico max plus but don’t want to buy new extra bases
Do you think yoyo2 will make an adapter for this?

I like it a lot! Load leg bases are the best as well.
Is this car seat compatible with the bugaboo?
Hi! In theory yes but we have been able to test out the connection.

I’m having this same problem!!! 😢

Very energetic with the imaginary baby inside that car seat, I hope the baby was wearing the proper seatbelt 🤣
Would it work on the Austlen entourage adapter? For front or rear? It looks different on the sides.
Hi, could you please make a video on the MAXICOSI Coral 360 vs MAXICOSI Pebble 360. Thank you
Unfortunately we only carry the Maxi Cosi Coral XP so we aren't able to review any of the other Maxi Cosi car seats. Sorry about that!
Is the Maxi Cosi XP only sold in the States ?
Hi Tracey! Unfortunately, because we are a US retailer we are only familiar with US models which do differ significantly from those sold internationally. I am afraid I can not offer any relevant information. Good luck in your search 😊
Does it work with the uppa baby vista?
Yes, using the Maxi Cosi adapters!
Thanks for this video

Hi Chelsea! The Coral works with all Maxi Cosi adapters.
Does anyone know if 2 x Coral XPs will fit the Mountain Buggy Duet as a travel system for twins?
Hi there! We do not carry the Mountain Buggy so we are not able to speak on compatibility, sorry about that!
Where can I buy the strap you are using???
This car seat has the strap, it is not an accessory that can be purchased unfortunately.
Can you use the car seat without the base?
Yep!
What are the specks for this seat, max weight and hight.
Also how wide is it
Great question! Child maximum height: 29” Maximum weight: 22lbs Measures: 31" L x 17.5" W x 18" H
Can you do a comparison of maxi cosi convertible car seats?
Sadly, we don’t carry Maxi Cosi convertibles.
😲😲😲 they brought it to the US?! 😁😁😁 woohoo!!!
In Spain instead of naming the car seat we calle it MaxiCosi just like you said it is like clennex or duck tape, you know them by the brand name...
Is this going to be available in Canada?
I'm not sure about Canada. So sorry.
Eli
Yes, there will be a Coral infant car seat sold in Canada. The Canada team is looking to launch in the next few months!
I'm looking for a light weight yet sturdy carseat and stroller what would you recommend
nuna pipa lite lx for car seat, nuna mixx or uppababy vista/ cruz for stroller

Maxicosi is a dutch brand, and one of the best in europa. In the netherlands is the best out of the test with the accident test.

Too bad they aren't the same, maxi cosi of Europe are FAR superior. Even the new Coral looks better.
Will this car seat work with gb stroller car seat adapter?
Unfortunately we are not sure. GB does not test for Maxi Cosi.
