You do have to add a bipod though which is true of any high end Airgun. I won my group / heat and made the finals at the Northeast Airgun Classic with a bone stock FX King. This narrative that you HAVE to add accessories to FX is total BS. I choose to add accessories. Just like I would to any Airgun I own.

I made those changes because HOW and WHERE I planned on using my truck. Same thing with airguns. With the FX Impact or Dynamics I can set them up as bench rifles or PRS or hunting rigs by adding different types of rails etc. that fit the discipline. Does that make sense?

@@delmarcurrier Not necessarily. I used the same gun I used at RMAC for Pyramyd Cup and shot one of the highest 3 card total scores in the competition. I found an issue with my set up that caused a horrible time shooting in the wind. Made that change and back towards the top of the pack coming in 2nd place for my group / Heat. A big part of this sport is knowing what to adjust when things get wonky.

Great vid! I’ll most likely be getting an M4 with a Nexus Gen 2 for squirrel/varmint shooting out on our farms. Now you got me thinking that I should also get that RF Module to make my life easier. Out of curiosity, think you could make a video of some of your misses once you get the rangefinder module? I see lots of videos that are super cuts of all the best hits, I’d like to get an idea of what the misses are like. Are they close, is there a lot of adjustments needed, how often are there misses vs hits…just to get a more accurate feel of what I should expect.
Ya the misses we always super close and almost always wind calls or the fact that I was shooting off of a not-so-stable platform with a tripod at max magnification. But the RF module got me spot on as far as elevation every time as long as I remembered to take a reading at the feet of the prairie dog since the module rides a few inches above the scope line. .

I believe Adam is running those BR100s for bench in the 890 FPS range. The 18 gr. pellets for speed challenge about the same. For the hunting portion I was running both Zan and H&N slugs. 40 grain slugs 950 and the new 33 grain H&Ns 975 FPS.

@@James-lx5vk With a 500mm barrel system I’ve seen decent hybrid slug performance. If I’m gonna shoot slugs I always go with a 600mm or longer barrel system.
Can you safely run and fill this new M4 to 300 bar with the aftermarket 300 bar bottle? The M4 manual said for single reg it is 250 bar max for the system.
@@AirgunChannel Not every regulator suffers from the slow rebound effect he shows. It does happen though. Knowing the small tweak to make when it happens though is an easy fix.
@@bluewater454 Semi auto would be pretty cool as long as the level of precision doesn’t suffer. Same difference between bolt vs. has guns in .22LR and centerfire. Higher levels of Precision often goes to the bolt guns.

The lead not only stays in the projectile wound channel, but it spreads quite far by blood and by the nervous system trigger; you are basically eating an animal whose millions of cells are screaming poisoning! And have just released a load of other unhealthy chemicals to defend the body from the lead. I don’t think that for all of us is a smart thing to expose ourselves constantly to lead. In truth is very dumb thing to do. My suggestion for you the pro’s is to start asking for alternative materials. There is no shortage of science and technology to be applied to this, and because the widespread use of PCP rifles we can show that here is significant market for non-toxic and less toxic pellets. Yes I have had that same set up with the M3 which is very close to the M4. The M4 has a tad more power with a slightly larger plenum. Going with the 800mm barrel will get that power and velocity up there with the 40 gr. slugs.
I dont even have to watch the video to say it is not the fastest. If fasted and not accurate was in one category a hatsan blitz something fully automatic would win. But if accuracy and fast go together than the impact loses. It has a super slow reg refill time and its not going back to the same bar settings after 1 or 2 seconds but maybe 10 seconds. I know a handfull of airguns like airmarks or Epic Ariguns which are more powerfull (EPIC One in .25 cal having regulated 200 joules at 230 bars, 160 joule at 190 bars) and also refill much faster. Maybe these are not availible yet in the us but certainly are better what FX airguns produces
