The simplicity of this design is excellent! Bravo! It looks like the speed control is wireless, so the controller would have a rechargeable battery as well yeah? If the controller fails you can purchase a replacement?
I have a unique question. In my industry we push carts around full of gear. I'm curious if this could this be used if attached properly and do an assisted push of 136kg. I'd err on the side of caution for hills, but the carts that have motorized rear wheels are incredibly expensive. I feel like if i could 3D print a part to make this work like an "emergency brake" it could connect with the ground very well and be essentially attached to a cart. Additionally i'm thinking of another clamp/mount to "grip" the acceleration knob with another "hand lever" like how a push mower operates where you "squeeze" the handle to operate it.
You can make the stick into a square "U" shape. You can then have the inside of the "U" shape going into your body so now the stick is directly behind you and also coming out in the center of your body as if it was straight. Kind of like those fake knife through the back and front costumes. You can make it look like harry potter or pretty close to it without giving up the perks of your preferred riding style. What do you think?
I'm LEFT!! Left wanting 😎👊 very cool idea!!
Very cool! I hope your idea succeeds!
Extremely interested. Hopefully it will be affordable!
Please make a spiked wheel version for snowboarding!!!

Thanks! Speed control is not wireless, there is a cable that goes from the top ball to the battery case (cable is hidden inside the tube)
sick :)
Hopefully it's not priced to crazy, id buy one for sure.
I want this, I hope it's not too expensive.
It’s 580 GBP (they texted me)
How easy is it to replace the drive wheel? This could be awesome on ice skates with a rough metal wheel.

Nah, that sounds much more limiting. The stick is the way to go, but nice try
