Damn excellent! Damn excellent! Playing and touch amazing! Really makes my day Watched it 6 times already! Just love it! Tremendous playing! My goodness! Jim Chicago
I learned this song over 40 years ago because it helped me in figuring out how to do walking jazz style bass lines. Actual Jazz players like Ray Brown were too complex to follow so this simpler line was easy to figure out.
Very nice effort. Thanks! I would make one suggestion, though. When you start the "chordal" section of the solo, you should play those initial "chords" the same way as you do at the "slow" part at the very end of the chordal section (i.e. reversing from a fifth interval to a minor third interval in the same fret position). Right now, at the initial part of the chordal section, you are moving your whole hand up a minor third from the fifth interval that you start with. Just keep you hand in the same position you start with, and reverse your fingers. Good hunting!
This is the case if you are playing an arrangement of the original version by Bach, however this is not possible with this arrangement by the band Jethro Tull as the guitar and bass parts are completely different.

You did a great job. I'm gonna pick my bass immediately and try it myself.

Show us all how you do it😅
I think you may be the only one on here who's actually gotten it right... and there have been numerous attempts.

If you play it in a classical guitar or lute you can play both parts together. Just sayin'
