I own rivals, winning, reyes, grant, other everlast gloves.. for some reason MX everlast have been at the top of my rotation for some time. I just hope this 2nd generation is as good as the first.. so I’m a big fan of this line, and I already have the 2.0mx version fight glove all white so I hope the 12-16oz of training glove feels as good.
Your comment recommending the superior boxing mitts as a clone to the winning cm-50 punch mitts lead me here. Did you get the chance to test both? I'm trying to get some good mitts and that video you commented on was explaining that the winning cm-50 were the best. If you think the superior clones are just as good then I'd buy those instead being that they use authentic leather and the price is just too good. I'm mainly interested in the ergonomics/comfort and the durability/quality in mitts. I was considering buying the Rival RPM 100 but have read some reviews explaining the negative aspects including how they start to stink real fast due to the suede inner lining and their awkward padding and stiff and uncomfortable fit. If you've heard about the Rival mitts I'd appreciate your opinion on them. Thanks.
Hi, it’s been a good minute since I’ve used them, but if money isn’t an issue go with winning, not every winning mitt I like I’ve used some that I didn’t like very much, but if you’re looking for a good bang for buck in that winning style superior could be a good choice. I like to mix up my mitts Everlast Elite mitts are still one of my favorites, I’m using the Fly premium mitts now and so far they’re really good. As far as air mitts I’m really picky, I want something light, yet not super floppy and with air mitts that can be a challenge. Top Boxer custom air mitts I hated too heavy and slippery, Adidas air mitts are really light, stick to your hands better, but they’re a little floppy. Everlast elite aren’t quite an air mitt, but light and thick enough padding, Phenom mini air mitts are a bit heavy but really good structure and not overly huge like a lot of air mitts. I haven’t used the rival mitts just put my hand in them I did like the snugness, they had some weight on them, the suede seemed like a nice touch, but I guess if you don’t let them air out properly it’ll be easy for them to start stinking. Ultimately, it’ll take some experimenting trying different brands and seeing what works best for you, you may even discover you like using certain mitts for certain boxers and rotate them accordingly.
@@BOXUPNATION Thanks for that thorough response. It seems like with a suede inner lining the sweat will get absorbed and start to smell no matter what is done because it won't be as easy to clean/disinfect as opposed to a smooth leather surface which could be wiped down. Airing out will only do so much. I'm actually looking for curved mitts that provide enough hand, wrist and elbow protection with heavyweights and power punchers and aren't so heavy to hold. Do you know if the winning cm-50 mitts are curved and good for heavy hitters?
@@judet232 I can't remember it's been a good while, but if i'm not mistaken they have flat punch surface Im not sure if your referring to a grip ball on the inside of the palm or a concave punch surface. I wish I had them on hand I'd do a quick video
@@BOXUPNATION crazy i saw this video today cause i swear i was just using my mx gloves again today after having them in garage for about a year without using them and i was damn these things are just to long, stiff n tight no matter how much i was bending folding them and using them back then, but they are nice and seem good quality. But i hope they make a whole line of the gear. Thanks bro

230 for Neverlast??? Why would anyone get these, if they can save 30 bucks and get quality Mexican brand customize gloves. Sorry, but this is way overpriced, even if the quality is there
@@BOXUPNATION I think for me, these would be a huge NOPE. I like that the original MX were in the competitive range with other MX mom and pop's gloves, but when it's over 200, that's just too much. More power to the people that love these though :)

The new ones are really cool, I think an improvement
It looks like they extended that lace up closure system to tighten up on the palm. I bet it has decent "pinching" of the padding
Yeah your right I just put my hand in them and it’s to the palm.
Awesome post. Always love the insight
Thank you 🙏🏽

Great video man! definitely look forward in buying a pair.
Thank you 🙏🏽
Can't wait to get some
Not sure if you ordered but shipped out most of them this morning 🥊
I hate long cuff! Messes with punch through and they were tight as shiii!!! Worth re buying?
These are snug, but the 1st Mx were ridiculously snug. These have more room and are more comfortable, unlike the rigid feel of the 1st ones.
