Most ppl size up atleast a half size from their normal shoe size.

Taking a bold leap with a brand-new look and style- they absolutely nailed it. I'm sold! I truly hope this headgear shines because if it falters, the industry will just keep imitating the winner fg2900. I was getting tired of seeing the same old thing from brands, to be honest.

@@AaronStanley-r1k I agree, the look isn’t for everyone, but I like how they did their own thing and are using university backed studies to improve the product. I would like to see the data when it’s out, but the fact that no other brand has done this is crazy to me.

@@lokumtaggart it depends, they make cheap stuff and more higher end stuff, which isn’t bad, but can be pricey.

@@Thedetailcartel I can only show what was given to me, didn’t trash the brand, but pointed out things that could be better (other people have had similar issues), still think they’re a good glove with room for improvement. Appreciate the feedback nevertheless

Two different types of gloves imo

I would say so, you could also try loosening them up like some ppl do gloves. Boxing shoes generally run narrow and most ppl size up normally. The tricky thing is Everlast doesn’t make half sizes, so sizing up a full size maybe not be feasible.

@@BOXUPNATION Yeah, I've tried the one with 1 size bigger, but that felt only longer, not wider. so hopefully it will adjust a bit on the sides, as the length is perfect.

Im sure they will, when I spoke to my rep they didn’t have plans, but as you know things change.

Some of the retail stuff looks nice, but just get the pro version. It’s just better overall. Had a friend recently have his finger pushed back while parrying a punch. He was wearing retail elite 2. Not saying the glove is what did it, but I’m sure it didn’t help.

could be a M or L, I'd refer to the size chart or measure your waist.

imo most velcro gloves suck. The retail grade ones are horrible, the pro grade ones are a tier above. It's an entry level glove, so don't expect the world, but a decent base level glove.

@@BOXUPNATION I get what you’re saying but there’s so many better options out there for cheaper online but I see less and less people wear them I just got a new pair of sanabul essential gel gloves cuz I didn’t wanna spend $120 and those are the best wrist supported gloves and the best feeling I’ve worn we’ll see how the padding is after I get them broken in

@@BOXUPNATION I understand that maybe I just have unfortunate luck with sparring partners with those gloves being pricks but I’ve tried some of them and I can’t get over how bad the padding was then once you’re 6 months in they give out I had to get rid of my last pair because the wrist support was completely gone and the padding was super compressed so they couldn’t be used it sparring cuz they were like mma shells

Winning-usa is the real company and the less expensive one

This one is a recommendation. If you’re getting caught often a headgear won’t save you, but if you’re getting caught once and leaking maybe a bar.

Depends on the model, some of the better options can get pricey. Title has a couple of budget friendly options that are good, which we sell online or instore.

@@Combat_Nation USA Boxing mandates competitors to wear the respective color of their corner weather it be red or blue at National Competitions. They cannot wear the same colored headgear, singlet, trunks, or gloves. For example, the USA Boxing National Championships 2023 in Lafayette, Louisiana (December 2-9, 2023) strictly had each competitor wear all red or blue if they were designated for that particular corner. This rule doesn't apply to local or regionals tournaments from my understanding. However, it's best practice to wear the opposite color of the opponent so the judges can easily differentiate the boxers competing inside the ring for the scoring system. Unfortunately, It's easy for mishaps to happen since most staff members are volunteering with no pay for the sanctioned event via USA Boxing.

​@@Velocitygamer16That's a crazy long wait time. I put in an order for the torres medina gloves and i'm looking at a 3 month wait for them.

If it's the "pro" version those are superior to the "retail" version. Usually the Professional ones are more expensive and are made with genuine leather.

It's the same gloves but one use synthetic leather and mesh palm while the ''pro'' version if real leather. Personally i don't think the pro version are worth it, they last about the same amount of time, might as well save some money.

@@Daniel_Clem I’ve had powerlocks last years, but I’ve heard the padding wears out quickly. I mostly had my clients use them, but decent into glove imo
