Good hunt! That ring reminds me of one I found 3 months ago. It looked silver but had no markings. I ended up putting it in my bling ring display box. I think it is silver plated copper.
When I worked in a thrift store, I was told that jewelry that has a open back behind the stones, they would most likely be real. That may give you a clue if the stones are real.
You do realize that anything you find treasure hunting on Oak Island, is considered, Stolen Property? The pieces you have found - which by the way - have been officially reported to the Canadian Government, may be considered historical antiquities, because they may have come from historical shipwrecks, which financially, because of the Oak Island tv show, may be covered in the antiquities clause. So, before you claim those jewelry pieces, you better check with the folks at Oak Island, about what you found, because I'm reporting your finds to their archaeologist, so they can report those pieces as stolen antiquities.
@@DetectorMoe My apologies, I thought you were in Canada. My dad just informed me, that you might be finding things from shipwrecks off the coast of NC. Supposedly Black Beard and Captain Kidd, both had ships crash nearby
@@beaueads4170 Black Beards ship ran aground at Beaufort Inlet, NC and part of his loot was discovered in Nov. 1996 @ Atlantic Beach (Ft. Macon State Park). Captain Kidd's ship was Money Island at Wrightsville Beach, NC. Pretty silly question to ask someone who has a home in Nags Head, NC and is 4 hours / 20 minutes from Wrightsville Beach, NC and 3 hours / 20 minutes from Atlantic Beach, NC with a dad who is a Retired Navy Rear Admiral and me being a newly Retired Marine with my undergrad minor in History and an older brother (Retired Army) with a Masters in military history and is a Historian who works at the Smithsonian

Those ‘’diamands’’ are opals if they are real
