I've learned through meeting lots of guards from all over that there are all kinds of names for the same toss depending on where you're from and who you're taught by..love all your videos! Saving them for tips on teaching my kids some new tosses!
What my guard does it strip the flag the opposite direction and spin it in a circle and throw it in the air, you can get some really high tosses that way

I love this toss. I teach it to my team each year even if I don't put it in the show. It's called a swing toss. ☺️

We called that a Yoyo toss back in the 90s.

I learned this from a friend she's in guard also, but we really don't have a name
