That is soooo true for my parents though. Both from the early 60's and by the time of SNF in 1978 they were full-fledged teenagers in High School driving their cars, chilling at the local café and hanging out at the beach. Pretty much like That 70's Show.

@@MangoMF You can take my comment as sarcastic, which it is, but that doesn't mean it isn't true. Any kid can do the floss. Any kid can uhhh... whip and nae nae, you name it. But not everyone can do those fast-paced moves from the mid XX century. This can be both good and bad. I support your point, it's nice to have a dance move everyone can coordinate to, so we can all have fun together. But, at the same time, it lacks personality and passion. Have you ever watched someone dance "jumpstyle"? It's energetic and each person has their own details that make their moves unique. Same with other beat-based dances, such as the hakken, the shuffle, etc (We're skipping traditional dances, shall we?) The thing about today's dances is the simplicity. It's a loop, to follow the beat in the simplest way possible. There are no variations. That I don't like. But I understand and respect their existence, you do you.

Tiny Elephant exactly, dance was so much better in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.

My faves are the ‘20’s, ‘40’s, ‘50’s, & ‘80’s dances! 😍 I just wish that for the ‘90’s dance, they’d done a boy-band dance, or The Macarena or something lol. Anyways, it’s cute how one guy excels at some dances and the other follows his lead, and vice versa, and how well they dance together is great! :)
Is it wierd that I'll feel very comfortable wearing the clothes they wore for the 50's in this video now ?🤣
My fashion style is literally almost the same as their clothes hahah
Me too honestly
And the thing is I don't feel wierd about it cuz I think fashion revolves cuz some of the clothes worn in the 90s are the latest trends 😂

Watch, as humanity goes from the jumps and mid-air spins to basic steps without barely moving our feet that anyone can do
Wow, a dance that anyone can do, so that anyone can join and most importantly, have fun with. How sad.
@// Eurolia \\ so do that? who is stopping you? lmao
Same with other beat-based dances, such as the hakken, the shuffle, etc (We're skipping traditional dances, shall we?)
The thing about today's dances is the simplicity. It's a loop, to follow the beat in the simplest way possible. There are no variations. That I don't like. But I understand and respect their existence, you do you.
