Consistency is key. In school your teachers didn't just come in when they felt like it. Your boss doesn't just come in on Mondays. If you look at the most successful entrepreneurs, they out worked everyone day in and day out.

I always have a "next goal" to achieve. When you stop setting goals, you stop being successful. The goals should be achievable within 2 weeks, so that you don't lose interest.

In my experience, the stop/start is caused by not delegating enough responsibility while you are in a growth stage. Then you end up getting overloaded (choose your metric) & while you are pulling back your workload in a specific area, you have less time to train people properly by example because you are just trying to keep up. When cost effective, trade money for time whenever possible as an entrepreneur as time is the only thing you can't buy back.

What most people don’t understand is that motivation does not create action, it’s actually the reverse. Action creates motivation. The key is to force yourself to get started with the smallest possible step.

You are right. When you don't know the question to "Who do you want to be in life" you are struggling with creating a real roadmap for yourself. It's common sense but many just ignore it.

As Ray Dalio says you start from what you'd like to achieve and move back to what you need to get there. You really make a list with the skills you need to acquire or improve and start from there. You create a schedule, routines, usual stuff high-performance people do. You envelop everything in grind and patience. Still...it's not easy to wrap this up in a few lines, but I am sure you got something useful from my above lines. It helped me build a 100 people company making 2 mill per year so it's possible.

Job done I am now moving on to making my money through my art and your words of stop start and why have strummed the chords baby! Many many thanks, I've been saying I'm in this for the long run and how you describe the distance required to go to achieve the big bucks is the best I ever heard it put. Bless your beautiful heart for sharing those truths. It is my intention to go from zero, (ok a little bit minus) to a lot of a lot, and I don't care how long it takes because it's all I'm focusing upon, day in and day out. Thanks again for helping :)

It all comes down to how much stress can you consume in one run at a stretch. The ability to consume stress.

    • @Kreation530
      @Kreation530 6 лет назад +2

I used to view it as consume. Now I have changed that word into swim through stress. If you dive into a pool, the water being stress. It is around you, you cannot breathe so you are uncomfortable. You know you can get out you just have to swim (be physically active in moving through the stress). The water is all around you, but it is not you. You are navigating, swimming, dancing around stress. To consume it, it becomes part of you therefore having to either keep it or digest it. (Not a swimmer) but swim everyday my friend.

I’m 25, and I started a construction company this year. In 10 years, I want to be a successful businessman with a multimillion net worth; I want to start a family with a boss wife and nurture strong kids; and I want to travel twice a year. In 20 years, I want to be a wiser businessman with at least a billion in equity; I want to have a strong family with solid values; and I want to give my parents whatever they want. In 30 years, I want to have an empire that can run on its own even without me; I want to raise sons and daughters that I can entrust freedom to and help them start their own businesses; and I want to travel whenever I want with my wife. In 40 years, I want to give back magnanimously to society.

Who do I want to be in life?
    Simple...Me
Who am I? I’m a guy who has 3 beautiful girls, a man who’s in his first year of the poop scooping business, a man who cuts his grass, cooks for his family and is, at times a pain in the ass to get a long with.
But it goes deeper than that, I’m “ME”....I’m here to climb the mountain of success, make a difference in the lives around me, love all that loves back, achieve my goals that were subconsciously set forth to me at birth and evolve into my higher self.
That’s who I am in life

Nothing short of a millionaire is acceptable. A regular life has no value to me. I was blessed with a high intelligence, now I have to match it with a high identity.
I have to be an example to my son of a free man. Free to choose with who, doing what, and where I spend my time.
Most Americans are living in the matrix. I don't give a shit who won what game this weekend. I played hoops my whole life. Didn't make a dime. Most athletes on tv are twenty something year old millionaires, playing games designed to keep young boys out of trouble. Good for them. Makes no difference in my life. It's entertainment, nothing more.
There's a world full of serious problems. We have no time to waste

Hi Pat! I have a question about the video you talked about. Does the strategy also apply for who those who work for others? I'm 21 years old and at this moment I don't I have a enterpreneur vein, so I would lie to know if I can have success and be a millionaire if I work for somebody.
